Wisdom in Proverbs - KJV Bible and Quizzes-Offline

The book of Proverbs is basically a collection of proverbs. It also contains some parables and poetry. King Solomon is the major author. Lamuel and Agur are considered minor authors. King Solomon asked God for wisdom to rule His people and God granted his request.

The purpose of the book of Proverbs is to teach wisdom. Proverbs are basically precise and concise statements of wisdom.

Chapters 1-9 advises young people on godly living and adherence to the advice of parents.

Chapters 10-24 deal with wisdom for average persons and the need to get committed to God.

Chapters 25-31 gives wisdom to leaders. Solomon was a king so he knew how to advice leaders based on his experience and the wisdom of God.

The aim of this app is to help memorize the wisdom in Proverbs (KJV Bible) and apply in our lives.

At ‘Home’, there are:

1.’Today’s Verse’.

2.‘Yesterday’s Verse’.

3. ‘Share’ button to allow sharing via several platforms such as ‘Messenger’; ‘Whatsapp’; ‘Gmail’ etc.

One may also share the whole app with others! .

Under ‘settings’ one has the following choices:

1. ‘Appearances per day’ selection: option to select how many times the verse notification should appear in a day.

2. ‘Font type’; ‘Font colour’ and ‘Font size’ selection option.
Option to change background picture to one’s desired background picture can be done under settings.

3. Two quiz formats exist for selection. You choose which one you want: either blank screen format or missing words format.
