Works great... All those people complaining... It's not the app, it's your IT department. You have to call your helpdesk if you change/wipe phones. And I suspect the blocking off rooted devices is also an IT-enforced restriction.

This p.i.t.a app is forced on us by our job as a secure sign on. Half the time it will not even send a notice to your phone so you can swipe to sign in. I have to make it email me a code that I have to enter in the onscreen login page. It is not just me, the entire team has a chat page set up just to share any time this thing fails. You can count on seeing issues each week. It sucks and I can't stop using it because of work. I would NEVER use this thing in my personal life.

It does not work if you get a new phone and have to download it again. I can not get it to work

Hi their I had to restore my android BlackBerry but now can't get into my company email. Do I email my it desk for support or can you help me. It seems that I need to have my pingid unlocked so I can again reset it once more.

My ping id is not working , when I open then it ask for pairing code, help me!

Suddenly decided to bring in restrictions which banned both my devices. Main phone is rooted, other one is Android 4. So now I can only use the desktop app. Had to go through support who were able to reset everything for me.

After last update I cannot use, it tell that my phone is rooted, but it is not rooted.

Latest update blocks phone because it is rooted. However PingID requests root. Why would I give it root access.

Doesn't make any sense. How can a phone app protect a pc-based connection? At what point do you prove the connection between phone and computer? This looks too much like a VeriSign or RSA token but without most of the protections they offer.

I had been using this app in the past without any issues. But recently, I'm not able to pair the device. It is giving me an error that the os is outdated when scanning the qr code to pair.I had been using the app on the same phone. And now it tells me the os is not supported. Please do the needful to allow older os versions.

Most other systems require a call, a text, or punching in a code... PingID does away with that when everything's working right, and simply asks you to "swipe". Doesn't get much easier than that! As an administrator, simply not had an issue from my users. As a user, it just works.

I can't use this. Every time i try to use it for work at home either it tells me the QR code is wrong (which ot isn't) or to enter a pass key that never appears on the website. I am getting so frustrated with this. All i want to do is get on to my work documents.

The skeumorphism is pushing things a bit- the app loads and initially displays a code, but it's not the right code, you have to wait for the flip-card animation to complete before it's showing the right code. The app needs to NOT display a code if it's just going to show the wrong code- it should be blank or show a "loading" animation only, then only show numbers when it's ready to display the real code. This flip-card animation, while cute, isn't really great for a corporate user who's just trying to log in and get to work.

The company I work for has used this for some of their software. The issue I've got is that I've a bought a new phone, wiped the old phone without unpairing the device and now after reinstalling the app on my new phone, there's no where to go. It asks for the pairing code but it hasn't asked me to reset up my email...?? Bit bemusing.

Since the update I haven't been able to access my company emails from my laptop or my phone. I'm desperately in need of getting into it and it's now impossible to do so. The key keeps saying it's invalid despite it not being the invalid key.

My company uses this software for 2fa. I am unable to add another device or change device for authentication as previous menus to add organization is missing and even previous qr code is not matching. Now I am stuck as I cannot access my daily jobs. I emailed but no reply received from pingid

I use this app as a part my organisation auth. One annoying thing it doesn't show how long the code ll be present till next one change. So I start to enter one and it disappears and I have delete in the middle and enter the new one. Either there should a seconds clock to notify or there should be now token created whenever app gets opened

It saying unable to pair, unsupported decide and OS. I using moto g (1st generation) and windows 10 I a feeling helpless ....May be due to this issue I will loose my produvtiVity at work place if it's not fixed soon for me

Wish there was an option to use a standard notification with Accept/Reject buttons rather than the annoying popup slider that takes over the whole screen.

terrible terrible terrible. i now can not access my work accounts with out having my phone to hand. what is the point?! my phone recently broke and getting it up and running on my new device is a pain in the neck. avoid at all costs! ++edit++ The generic copy and pasted replies do not help. Post an original response or don't bother. WORST COMPANY/APP EVER!

Way yoo intrusive permissions (location, camera, phone). Also kills battery. Shows at 18% consumption on my Nexus, although I use it maybe once a day.

It's straight up port of their iOS app. Doesn't use any Android design guidelines. No support for Android Wear to swipe on the watch.
