Sound Analyzer for Android
Analyze sound you hear with your smartphone or tablet. See sound content in time and frequency in identify leading frequencies. With this tool you can analyze any sound you wish (playing instrument, singing, whistle, car engine, animal sounds, etc...)
Analyse captured audio from microphone in three separate panels:
- Osciloscope (time domain),
- Spectrum (instantaneous frequency domain),
- Spectrogram (accumulative frequency domain).
You can display all panels at once (default screen). If you want to see each panel at full-screen, you can simply click on panel and it will be shown full-screen with additional settings that can be changed by pressing buttons. Display can also be paused to take screenshots.
In Spectrum panel values of one or five leading frequencies can also be displayed. Linear or Logarithmic magnitude scale can be chosen. For better peak frequency estimation, special algorithm is applied.

Ad covered display, some displays didn't show, buttons unresponsive, spectrum poor contrast colors
This app hasn't been updated for over 2.5 years but you still respond to user comments ? Why bother ?
Nice , But digits are to small to read in my 9" screen.
Please add note recognition and remove the startup info (don't show it again).
Stupid adds cover screen

The f-@+ing strobing ad pop-up is new. It's cruel and unusual punishment just because this stupid phone updates and I lose functionality... Sick to kick me when I'm down. Remove the bullshit ad and maybe people will care again!
On cartoons
Ad covers a big chunk of the ui, no settings, ui could use some work

Spectral analysis is great. Lots of fun playing with my voice and sound around. Osciloscope have space for improvement though. It's way too unsensitive and barelly visible.
Seems to be accurate. I like the waterfall analyser it's good to find resonant frequencies in a room. Shame about the annoying ad.
It has lot of useful data that can be used to analyze sound. But the text is too tiny on my nexus 5. (I would suggest using dp instead of px for setting font size)
On my smartphone display the text can only be read with a magnifying glass. There are no usable controls.
This looks to do exactly what I need, but on high res displays the type is tiny. Impossible to read with any accuracy. Bummer
Very helpful with the vocal improvement
Best app for this purpose
Problems with advert banner in the way covering screen.Force closing.Just downloaded it and it doesn't work properly.Too buggy!Waste of time!!!Uninstalling.:@

It rocks
Good interface but with constraint of 8khz sampling rate. I really do wish the developer find a way to push this limit higher to 44.1khz sampling rate.
Can this capture any EVP waves?
Is there a ad free pro version? I would be more then happy to pay for it.
Great app. Could use zooming features. Add free version in the making, they say.
permissions min-great app
I got this to check out a few things it woks great ^•^
Works good for me checking the sound at church
Amazing...
Could be great but unfortunately the font size is way too small on my SIII. Also has some performance and stability issues.
Slow response

Looks like it had a lot of potential but the ads covered up things i apparently needed to see.

Text is too small to read, ad covers useful parts of the screen. Frequency graph lags and app sometimes freezes then exits.
