RideConnect for Android
I can schedule my day through the Rideboard. Would work great for private taxi jobs that would like to avoid the expensive fees from Uber or Lyft
Love the app, great design with a fluid/functional layout!
Popular "rideshare apps" have distorted the true meaning of ridesharing. That's where Ride Connect comes in. With its clear mission and true focus on ridesharing. This is one of the best apps I have.
When you're plugged into a large social network such as your university or workplace, ride connect allows you to get a ride to the grocery store, mall or that concert downtown. You can even get a ride from the airport in an unknown city. Transportation will never be a problem again!
This app really works out for groups that want to share rides and do fun things together. You can easily post information about what's going on and then your friends can find out about it. It makes it very easy to ask them to pick you up or to just offer to pick them up on the way to places. For me, it's most useful to plan my day so that I'm having more fun with people I like to do things with.
You may get stuck during the registration process trying to register as a driver. I ended up uninstalling and installing again and it worked fine.
im only mad at myself because I had the plan to come up with something like this but didnt have the resources..good work

I am a post doc at UT Arlington and teach at a local community college. While my car is in the shop this week I can use rideconnect to coordinate rides to work with my extended social circle. Pretty cool. In Dallas, i have hailed cab drivers who use the application too. What will be really cool is if conferences like society for molecular biology (SMBE, in Austin 2017) use this app. It would be a great way to network on the way to and at the conference. I'd give the app 5 stars if conferences I attend pick it up.
