Prime Alert. Pocket SOS button for Android
-the "not moving" alarm should be able to be set for 1,2,3...hours or days, instead of only 1 hour (what happens if i just sit and watch TV for 1 hour)!!!?? -i change to 5 stars if i dont need to give you my email and PASSWORD to use it. COME ON!! there are tons of PANIC BUTTONS apps. out there that do the same and doesnt ask me that!!!!! -THERE ARE TONS OF SIMILAR APPS THAT DOESNT REQUIRE MY GMAIL ID AND PASSWORD!!! (even if i add it, it doesnt recognize it)
Would give 5 stars but couldn't get shake or power button to work - would be nice if you could set different sms message for different alarm levels
Everything works only the power button feature not working
Pro's: This is perfect! Full featured, it allows me to send a text message to any specified phone number, and also a text message with a pre-typed message and map link for location. The map link I pulled up using Locus Pro and Google Maps, both were spot on when my phone was connected to wi-fi inside a metal building, and within a half mile accuracy using Cell phone tower triangulation(Verizon). I have not tested GPS accuracy as I am in a metal building. I would assume it's accurate. It has several widget sizes, 1x1 etc etc HALF THE SCREEN. Setup is a bit complicated for an average user, but it allows more features. As an example I can trigger the alarm if I............ have not moved within a certain time, move too much, repeatedly press the power button several times while in pocket, and click the widget on screen. Also allows for time delay if accidentally pressed. Con's: Cannot get email function to work. It gives no indication if I have something wrong, and throws your SMS and email contacts together. Also, what does it send SMS through? I cannot find the messages in my phone's text app. And does this rely on servers on your side to function? Or just my phone?
