About Pregnancy Exercise Videos
The more active and fit you are during pregnancy, the easier it will be for you to adapt to your changing shape and weight gain. It will also help you to cope with labor and get back into shape after the birth. Exercise does wonders during and after. Exercise always boosts mood, improves sleep, and relieves pains in delivery.
Why to exercise here? - Regular exercise can improve your posture and decrease some common discomforts such as backaches and fatigue. There is evidence that physical activity may recent gestational diabetes (diabetes that develops during 9 months), relieve stress, and build more stamina needed for labor and delivery.
Yoga - Practicing yoga while pregnant is one of the best ways to keep your body feeling good and your mind in balance. If you've never practiced yoga before, start with prenatal yoga only. However, if you've been practicing yoga for a while, you should be able to continue your regular yoga practice with a few modifications.
Try to find something that you enjoy, as you'll be more likely to stick to it in the longer term. Build activity into your daily life, too. For example, taking the stairs instead of the lift, and doing housework or gardening, counts as exercise. Avoid doing sports where there's a risk of hitting or slipping and falling, such as squash, gymnastics, rollerblading, horse riding and skiing. Having a fit doesn’t have to mean a big time commitment or fancy equipment.
