PowerAMP as default MP3 Player

have a htc 10,and for some reason only play music or kodi are available to open any of my mp3s.downloaded this app and viola,i can now choose poweramp as my default player.many thanks

I am very surprised that the people at Poweramp are relying on someone else for this. I even paid for their app and this issue was not there before. Unfortunately your solution does not work on my Nexus 7 2013 running Android 6.0. It is not even clear how to use it, whether one just installs it or it needs to be run. In the latter case as other have pointed out is not possible to find it.

This is the best app for my music platform, especially in my car two twelve subwoofer with the Bluetooth hookup sound that you get lost in it without going anywhere.

How do I get in the settings for this because there is no option for it

Now i can play any music directly from file explorer

I dislike the stock player. PowerAmp is the best player I've ever used. This tiny app process allows me to get the option to open music with this player by default. An option that i never had. Now Power Amp is my default! Thank you soooo much!
