The developers have to configure this to every website for which it is used. That's a lot of work. For the sites it works on, it's fantastic. The complainers probably never contributed to app developers anyway.

I don't know what is happening to dolphin. I think it might be one of those classic cases where there is a good vision and from growth it leads to chaos. Dolphin is no longer smooth. It's buggy and so are it's so called add-ons. What a waste.

Any app that forces you to ask permession from the developer to White List websites is censorship. Also for the few sites allowed the White Listing isn't great so even at best this isn't good.

Can't review features as can't find a website it works on... No idea what a white list is but never heard of the few site (presumably that it does work on) so no interest in trying them so not much use. Worse I had no idea you could filter sites to just text to read so thought it was gonna be amazing but not only can't I use it but worse I now know I'm missing out. Not good dolphin

you have to ask permission to whitelist "in a future update" and the few sites that are whitelisted don't even work. also, browsing those sites forced dolphin to close.

Using a whitelist to mark possible sites from the billions of available ones is bad design. Is it not an option to do it like Firefox's reader on PC?

It only supports a few sites and you have to send a petition to devs if you want support for a new site, that's pretty dumb. I wish I could add it directly without waiting for updates.
