POORTI

POORTI is a project to provide a multi-party mobile commerce platform in vernacular for easy ordering of fertilizers, pesticides, seeds (beyond a given value) by farmers with loans given by various banks. For manufacturer/dealers/ cooperative societies, the fund will be transferred from the lending bank through mobile platform on acknowledgement of the receipt of such material by farmers. It will also provide a source of earning to educated rural youth who can act as delivery agents.
