Swinburne Student Diary for Android
Constant closing, bad interface and bad usability. Generic apps do the same thing.
Can't edit diary entries without it crashing - that's if you're lucky enough to entre one without it crashing.
Only good thing is access to discounts.... But the actual app is slow, and hard to use. On HTC M7
Out of date and NOT user friendly.
Eh. Not very useful. Calendar is more useful on my phone.
As others have pointed out, this app is not for you if you want a refined experience. I Like the idea of location based discounts and time table integration however the app is plagued by poor speeds and hangs with poor screen spanning for tablets. Might be worth trying in a few months if Swinburne put some serious effort into the programming and get it beyond a proof of concept.

Great app with serious potential, but it desperately needs an offline mode.
Why just android and Apple apps. I want to write my diary on a big screen with a physical keyboard rather than sticking to a small screen fiddling with the touch screen.
Why do you guys need permission to make calls from my phone? And why do I even have to ask that question? All permissions and the reason for needing them should be explained in the app description or the changelog... And furthermore why do I keep bothering to write reviews for apps that I know don't get read.
Info seems ok when you can get at it. The design is awful and it has serious layout issues on larger screens - on my Nexus 4 the day numbers appear completely out of the calendar grid. Needs huge work.
App is much more smooth and responsive now, it's a fairly good remake Things like integrating allocate timetables into the calendar and even syncing with androids calendar would make this invaluable
Now a lot better than it used to be :) good remake ssaa
the app doesnt close theres no info on it, not even the important allocate dates that are like 2 weeks away. well done swinny.
All the functions take a good 5-10 seconds to load. Calender numbers don't line up with the squares they're supposed to be in. List of discounts and offers is alright.
They have flyers at my uni for the app. But don't have my campus.....
You need to make an account for this app. I was only looking for the academic calendar :/
