Date In Tray / Status Bar

Thanks for the app. Might I suggest a different font. I uninstalled it due to the number 7 being too unrealistic/unnatural looking. This adjustment along with a possible option to show the month would be nice to see as well. Thank you though for your efforts. In hopes of seeing these additions in the near future.

On marshmellow fails to load on boot. Must manually start it. Apart from that, great utility

Hide on lock screen option doesn't work (on Marshmallow) and it takes a while to auto start.

Stopped working after recent update and changed rating to 1 because no reply from developer? .

This is a great app I've been using it for a few years now on several devices currently on the V20 and never had an issue with it.

Latest update has broken the program gor me. Service says its runs but no visible date in the tray?

Worked just fine for a while but now, just like some other recent reviewers said, service is on but no date in tray. It's broken. There are other similar alternatives out there, I'm about to try some.

The notification tray box keeps appearing under other, new notifications. Give us the option to keep it above everything else, or second, etc., and I will bump my rating up to 5.

BUYER BEWARE - When my previously paid "Date in Tray Pro" version suddenly and unexplainably stopped working, I followed its instruction to ‘update’ the software. All seemed fine, and, the program began working properly… accept this time…. I was charged an additional ‘promo sale’ fee of $1.99! What a SCAM - having a program terminate function, then re-charging a person for a ‘promo’ download. I'm not waiting around for the developer to do this trick a second time. In my opinion/case (on a HTC evo V 4G) CALENDAR IN STATUS BAR is more suitable in both permanentcy of operation and functionality. NB: no I am not a competitor either - just another member of the 'moral majority' who also has decided to drop this software in favor of another program.

This app is awesome! I've used it forever and went pro a long time ago. Don't believe the haters. Nothing is free forever and it's just right to support the devs. I love that I can tell what the date is with a glance at my status bar when I have an app open. Even what day it is, when I'm trying to see how many days till Friday. :-) It's a must have for me! Edit: The app was broken for one day people, it was fixed that evening, no need to spaz out. I was not charged anything more, I uninstalled and reinstalled, no problem. Yes its a paid app, but the developer was right on top of the fix.

A little pricy, but works great

Was confused re: update myself until I carefully followed ALL the instructions. Works exactly the way it is supposed to. As for payment, why not? Everything in life is not free. I recommend this app without reservation...

Handy little app.

This app stopped working one day, and put up a message saying I had to update the app from the Market. However, no update was yet available. Now I know that even though I'm a paying customer, the app will stop working every couple months. These timeouts are an idiotic, ill-conceived license control measure. You are forced to re-validate your license at the author's discretion, and sometimes you will be locked out of the app in the meantime. Some sheep may accept this ill treatment, but I. WILL. NOT! I will never use this app again. Besides repeated forced updates, the app WILL become permanently useless shortly after the author decides to stop updating (read: re-unlocking) it. For those with poor reading comprehension: I am NOT claiming that I was forced to re-purchase the app. I am simply pointing out that the app times out (for no good reason); you will be forced to update it; you will not be able to use it during that time; and one day the update may never come, at which point you have a useless PAID app installed. I will NOT be treated this way! I've switched to "Calendar in Status bar", which is cheaper anyway. I got a refund; you can, too, even after the 15 minutes are up!

Great concept terrible design; I cannot see a black icon on a black background.

Works well on Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Brilliant app. Just needs larger fonts and icon. Too small for my little eye.

Date in tray regularly quits working unless you "update" it. It should not be necessary to update if I don't want to.

I purchased this app after the free version was no longer available, and even after the scathing message the developers sent out. I was fine with that because I thought this app was great. Now it's telling me the service has been disabled just like it did with the free version. What is the point? I can't think of any other app that treats even its paying customers this way. Even if it is only a couple dollars, that's still no way to do business.

Outstanding customer service! Extremely quick at offering solutions and fixing issues and very friendly. I wish more developers treated their customers this way.
