Aplikacja mobilna Szlaki Mazowsza to praktyczne narzędzie dla nowoczesnego turysty, pozwalające na nawigację po szlakach turystycznych Mazowsza oraz dające dostęp do bogatej bazy informacji o najciekawszych miejscach położonych w ich pobliżu. Aplikacja korzysta z tych samych danych o obiektach i szlakach, które są prezentowane na stronie i na geoportalu znajdującymi się pod adresem www.mazowsze.szlaki.pttk.pl. Projekt Szlaki Mazowsza ma na celu popularyzację turystyki aktywnej, wzbogacenie bazy informacyjnej dla turystów oraz wdrożenie nowego produktu turystycznego w postaci regionalnego systemu szlaków turystycznych. W aplikacji zintegrowanej ze stroną internetową znaleźć można np. szlak przechodzący przez Legionowo, szlak czarny biegnący przez Świdry Wielkie do Białej Góry czy też pętlę biegnącą szlakiem żółtym Augustów – Rożki.

Aplikacja mobilna umożliwia przeglądanie na mapie wszystkich szlaków pieszych Mazowsza oraz szlaków rowerowych znajdujących się w południowej części regionu. Do każdego szlaku przyporządkowane zostały obiekty, a wśród nich ciekawe miejsca krajoznawcze, przyrodnicze (parki krajobrazowe, rezerwaty, zbiorniki wodne itp.) oraz inne obiekty atrakcyjne dla turysty. Znaleźć tu można także wiele informacji na temat wsi i miast, przez które przebiegają szlaki. Na trasie wycieczki pojawi nam się np. informacja o takich miastach jak Pułtusk lub Grodzisk Mazowiecki, czy też o wsi Adamów lub Czersk. Wśród interesujących miejsc znajdziemy np. Rezerwat „Okólny Ług”, Centrum Rzeźby Polskiej w miejscowości Orońsko czy też wiele zespołów parkowo-pałacowych.

Do każdego ze szlaków znajdujących się w aplikacji przypisane są miejsca interesujące znajdujące się w jego pobliżu. Można także zobaczyć jego profil wysokościowy, kolor oznakowania w terenie, a także przejrzeć dane o długości szlaku oraz odległości innych szlaków lub obiektów od aktualnego położenia użytkownika. Aplikacja daje nie tylko możliwość nawigowania po wybranym szlaku, ale także opcję wskazania dojazdu do wybranego punktu oraz wyszukania ciekawych miejsc w pobliżu.

Wszystkie szlaki dostępne w aplikacji zostały zaznaczone zbiorczo na mapie, różnymi kolorami, odpowiadającymi kolorom szlaku w terenie.

Aplikacja wykorzystuje technologię GPS i działa w trybie offline, z możliwością pobierania dodatkowych danych online.

The mobile application allows you to browse on the map all the hiking and cycling trails Mazovia located in the southern part of the region. Assigned to each route are objects, among them interesting sightseeing places, natural (parks, nature reserves, water reservoirs etc.) And other facilities attractive for tourists. You will also find lots of information on towns and villages that are crossed by trails. The trip shows us, for example. Information about cities such as Pultusk or Grodzisk Mazowiecki, or about the village of Adams or Czersk. Among the interesting places we can find for example. For each of the routes contained in the application are assigned to points of interest located in the vicinity. You can also see the elevation profile, color markings on the ground, as well as view the data on the length of the route and the distance of other routes or objects on the current position of the user. The application provides not only the opportunity to navigate the selected route, but also the option to indicate directions to the selected point and find interesting places nearby.

All trails available in the application are collectively marked on the map, different colors corresponding to the colors of the trail on the ground.

The application uses GPS technology and works offline, with the possibility of downloading extra data online.
