Solid Explorer Classic

Nice app. Very clean and fairly intuitive. The only feature missing: I would love the ability to program gestures to perform actions (like ES does with the little bubble.) Adding that would be amazing, because one thing this app suffers from is navigation. Another problem - I followed the link in the description to download the 2.0 version, but cannot do so, instead of the download button I have the message saying "this version not compatible with your device"...my device is a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (updated 100%, not rooted.) This is the first and only time I've seen that message on the Play Store, after years of downloading hundreds of apps.

This file manager should be rated higher than other respective apps. If you put a little time to get familiar with this app, you will see that you can do more things than a simple copy paste! Power users will love this app.

I love this classic version more than the "modern" version. But the only thing that is not working on my Samsung (Marshmallow) is "Cut" file or folder..

Nice app. It is love at first sight. The only shortcoming is the unavailability of this app while sharing. X-plore file manager provides this.

I can't view my files on SD card. Error says 'java.io.IOException: Access Denied'.

Please can we have an update so that Nougat is supported on Galaxy S7. This is my favourite file Explorer and I really miss be able to use it.

Used to be my most favorite file explorer on my Android phones, until I switched to the new one: Solid Explorer. Has more features than I would ever expect from a file explorer on a phone to have and reminds me the days of Windows Mobile Pocket PCs.

Doesn't manage root properly. Root permissions are granted but it won't mount the root directory with write permissions.

It's a perfect app that contains formats to open rar and zip and txt and a lots of things it's wounderful and very small

Best app out there! Nothing else comes close for usability and features. Love the cloud to phone transfer capability , knocks spots off anything else I've tried :-)

@ Larry Kraus Larry, If you haven't already realized this; English is most likely not his first language, given his name, the fact that he gave specifics on how "not" to write to him about problems, and that he is, in fact, a developer of a great program, should point to the conclusion that he doesn't mean, " hey I developed this app, if you have a problem, deal with it."| Also he does care about this issue, about people having trouble using the unlocker. Just because he doesn't instantly respond with an answer, doesn't mean he doesn't care. He could have seen the problem people were having, and went straight to work on a solution, which he quickly found.| But if you still think he doesn't care about this app then go ahead and look for an alternative. Good luck finding one as good as this.

Download this app looking for a way to browse my network the way ES File Explorer used to. Solid Explorer CLASSIC does have a very limited network browser but lacks the simple functions to explore the C drive of a computer on the network. I wish I had known that Solid Explorer (not Classic) has no network capabilities at all before I paid for it. Fortunately I was more careful before giving them any more money for what sounds like the same program with an older skin but is in fact completely different.

I am not able to transfer file from my phone storage to memory card or otg storage ,so what's the benifit of a file manager, will give 4 star if i can love file from 1 storage to another storage
