XenoAmp Music Player for Android
Very good music
Horrible interface great sound if you tweak the eq, except you have to redo it every time you use the player. Please fix this. I really like the sound of this player. Get it to save an eq preset .
As of latest version, floating action button (back button) is missing in folder browser, and tapping on my local source of music doesn't show any options, can't remove or purge source, have to clear app data as only option
Interface is horrible. Can't play samba mounted files. Uninstalled.
Can't get used to the interface. Has potential to be a great player.
Tried it again but still too difficult to use. Could not find any android playlists or how to create them. The size, 20mb is probably too big for phone use.
I can't locate songs in the phones' memory, only the SD card functions.
The app we all desire :)
Language is wrong
For some reason I could not check it out. Kept on crashing.
I like it because it so be stylist and I like it
I absolutely love it!
I want to like it but not very intuitive to pick up and use. I found directions on how to shuffle all tracks but the voice command recommended by the dev didn't work for me.
too complicated
GUI very difficult to use
If only Google Music sync was working.... I keep getting an error related to Java in the status bar when trying to sync.
Sensual sounds n moods are awesome; I became soo horny after listening to a voice sex message from my gf
Amazing music quality and an exciting interface completes my best music player on android .
I like the way app works..
Been using this for at least 2 months. As much as I like the interface (took a minute to get used to) what messes with me is how it'll finish playing a song, then skip to nearly the end of the next song. In other words, it doesn't consitently transition well between songs. I had to use another player last night at work because I didn't want to have to deal with my phone. Another issue deals with how it has to sync and purge files: I get the result I want but it seems to purge and sync incessantly at times.
I tried every music app and none of them satisfied, then I found this one. This should be the first thing that comes up in search, it would have saved a lot of effort if I had found it sooner. And album artist support is the icing on the cake, music apps that don't do this are a waste of space. The cherry on top is that it found the right album art for everything first time. This is just amazing! If I could give more stars I would!
What a cool player. First off. My hearing isn't what it used to be. I play music a few hours every single day. I've had to find audio player's that have a hopefully descent equalizer. Now I've found this. Wow it's blown me away. My music is making me smile again. Apart from the ui being very different. It's amazing. Cheers
Been using it since beta, still best sound in market. Easy to use and devoted developer that keeps making it better. Works seamlessly with viper4android ! Kudos t SSuukk

Crashes on MM when opening sound from side menu.I got to admit though the developer is really active.
Like the features and different style should allow for easier basic features of playback and song skip
Force closes wth
Unique music player worth looking at if you are an audio nerd. Can be difficult to use if you are not too savvy with navigating an unconventional app or if you are unfamiliar with audio terminology.
Nicer

I'm still trying to figure out how it Interfaces with Google music. Does my phone have to be rooted? Will it sync play counts? Has crashed on start for a few months now. Might check back but uninstalling for now
I know it is an old OS; but not much option on my phone. I still recomend it if it launches for you, awesome player and design. edit: still crashing with update from Apr 22
Emailed developer a few days ago about repeated login failures for Internet service apps... HE FIXED IT! (and most certainly cares about getting stuff done) BUY IT. BUY IT NOW.
Practically already do, but at the same time, no. The main reason I wanted the application is because it is the only alternative to Google music out there! Ever since I first downloaded it, I've not once been able to get the integration/syncing of my Google music on the application. Hope
Can't get it to connect to my windows share nas smb... Update. resolved smb issue with uninstall/ reinstall. Bit slow due to network but works well if you can get used to it.
Force closes in marshmallow
After months of being a fan, I find the playlist handling to be getting worse. First, large playlists end up with songs being deselected. (I.e. 100-song playlist would slowly reduce in size with songs being removed from the playlist for some reason). Next, playlist with multiple albums/artists keep stopping. Actually not stopping. The progress indicator show the song playing but there is no sound. I tap the pause and then play button and the song will start. It would go for 1 to 3 songs, before issue occurs
This has all the features I want, smb folders etc. But the Ui is trying to be flash, but just makes it unusable for the user. Shame.
The best. Steep learning curve...but once you figure it out its pretty sweet updated: each update makes the app less and less useful to the point today's update just crashes repeatedly. additionally it no longer syncs to google music - that was my main reason for tolerating the other quirks! at this point I would have to say the frustration level is getting too high to keep this app on my phone. i can no longer recommend this once awesome music player.

One of the only music players that properly support multi genre tags like "rock;metal;gothic metal". The first player i have seen with a nice genre display via icons per genre! Ofc the interface and usability has a steep learning curve, but the included features are actually great.
