Master Bass Guitar Tuner is an easy-to-use application with which you will be able to tune your bass guitar quickly. The application includes sets of tunes:
- bass guitar, standard,
- bass guitar, 5 strings, [+B0(H0)]
- bass guitar, 5 strings [+C1],
- bass guitar, 6 strings [+B0(H0)], [+3],
- bass guitar, 6 strings [+C1], [+C3].
The algorithm has been adapted to recognize sounds of bass guitar most effectively. To get the best result of automatic tuning, play the sound on the single string few times.
The application has two modes: pitchfork and tuner.
- Pitchfork
You can use pitchfork to tune your bass guitar in our application – just play bass guitar sound of each string and check if the strings of your bass guitar are tuned properly. You can also play all sounds automatically (from lowest to highest string) and during recording – tune strings of your bass guitar.
- Tuner
If you need any help with tuning your guitar, turn on the auto tuner. The application will recognize the sound played by you and help you tune each string.

- the ability to set the frequency of sound "a" (concert pitch) in Hz

As far as tuning goes, it does an adequate job. Maybe one step up from tuning forks. But it will get you within range close enough that someone who is interested in just messing around will be satisfied.

It was really easy to use when there's no other noise around at all I used it for the first time right after I downloaded it and it tuned my bass guitar good enough if you just want to practice at home. I would definitely suggest getting it. It was a pretty good app for free one as well.

Installed, and the first time I used it, it "listened" to my bass and guided me to tune it. From that point on, it no longer works as a tuner. It only plays the note and I have to try and match it. No way to get it back to "listen" mode.

I just purchased a second hand Bass guitar today, and as you'd assume it is in fact out of tune. Now I've barely touched a bass before, all I know is the bridge to Learn to Fly by the Foo Fighters and can just about read tabs. This is all I know, otherwise I'm a total noob. But this app has helped me perfectly tune my Bass on the first time using it. Very happy with this app.
