Knock Lock

Maybe its me not being able to figure it out, but I wish there was a setting where the locking widget area would only apply to the home screen. (Eg. Not while browsing or scrolling through app drawer) and also, is there a way to have it running, but without the constant notification in the drop down menu?

When using this it force locks the phone when using smart lock. So, even when I'm connected to a trusted device I have to enter my password in to unlock my note 4. This only happens when I use knock lock to put the device to sleep, not when I use the regular power button. Please fix this issue.

Well this app served its purpose. Only one thing. When i placed the icon to double tab, that specific area will not function. Because of the hidden button. Oh well. Hope it improve in the future.

Since Google came out with Smart Lock this app needs an update. I use a Moto Keylink to keep my phone unlocked when in range, and Smart Lock will auto-lock the phone when out of range. Therefore the only thing I need Knock Lock to do is turn my screen off. I don't want it to lock my phone anymore. Any chance this option can be added for premium users?

It only locks the screen. For unlocking, you still have to be dependent on your device power button. What's the use then?

Doest work and won't delete wtf this app sucks don't get it! I tried deactivating it but it won't guess I'm stuck with it.... someone help

Works on my nexus 4. I wish it would work for unlocking. TIP: DON'T PUT THE BOX ANYWHERE IN THE KEYBOARD AREA. SUPER ANNOYING.

I can not live without this app, it worked great in my sony z3 and i just upgraded to the s7 edge and when i use it, it locks the screen so it is incompatible with the fingerprint scanner. Please make this compatible with the s7 please please please!

Doesn't work on Galaxy S2 A. Even removing it is not listed on this page. To remove it from GS2A, it is Settings -> Lock Screen and Security -> Other Security Settings -> Device Administrators. Then unlock it to allow you to remove it.

Exactly what I was looking for. The app seems to prevent me from flipping my camera. Like the flip button is blocked everytime this app is active.

Wow ... More convenient for me than the LGG2!!! I had an LGG2 for 2 years and loved it until the soft home button stopped working properly. So I just got a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and am enjoying it but I immediately missed the "knock on, knock off" feature of the LG ... especially when turning the Note 4 off with the Otterbox case making the side button hard to push. Now, with the Note 4 and the Knock Lock app I turn the phone off by knocking and back on using the home key and my app is there and ready to use. This is so great for Golf GPS, Navigation, Biking, Skiing or any kind of app you use intermittently. I now truly have a no compromise combination of an LG-G series and a Samsung S/Note. FYI, when I use the types of apps mentioned above I temporarily eliminate the lock screen by setting it to "none". This app is perfect the way it is!!! You just have to plan a bit when sizing and placing the "knock box" ... common sense people!

I use Nexus 6P, and use fingerprint to unlock my phone after locking with power key. But when I use this app to lock the phone with double tap, while unlocking the screen it asks for pattern lock along with fingerprint. So please fix this simple error so that I can give five star for the app !!

Suggestion for team development. Can setting(adjust) delay double tab(knock-knock). like setting double click in Windows platform. loved it. Thank you developer.

This app is a great compliment to my HTC One M8's tap to unlock gesture feature. Happy to be the second person to download the $1 paid version.

It creates a dead zone on your screen, so you cannot perform any tapping actions in tha spot. Useless. UPDATE: after android security update it is now not compatible with fingerprint scanner :(

Allways running in background. Its Ok its never going to be the same as LG G2, G3, G4....

Like everyone else says, having the dead spot on the screen is unfortunate when you put the button somewhere your fingers always go. I'm sort of over that, but recently what has been happening on my phone is urging me to delete this app. The button keeps changing places on the screen! I have to go back into my settings to move it back to where it should be, which shouldn't be happening at all. Please fix.

Don't know if this would apply to anyone else's phone, but shortly after installing this app, phone began running very skow.

I want to knock and have it turn on it said all I had to do was click and took me to googleplus to add didn't say how to turn on at all please help then 5 star rating

Nice app but freezes a lot on my Note 5. Uninstalled, reinstalled, and rebooted but still freezes often. Hope designers can fix.Thx.

A very useful app, the only thing is the dead spot where the sensor is. If we can have option there, that would be great.

Galaxy s6 edge - dead spot on knock area, which makes me put it in a place I don't normally click, rendering it useless because now I never use it. I used to have the LG g2, and I'd tap the notification bar to lock, maybe something more like that would be more useful. Other than that, works great. Doesn't crash if I remove from notification bar like other apps.

It is one of great app of androids one million apps. While I watching streaming video in browser back button misbeheaves and retreaves to home page. So I decided to sell my phone. But now my problem is fixed. Thankyou so much.

I juz discovered tis awesome app yesterday! But tis app will auto deactive (or force stop by phone built in RAM killer), nid manual restart. How to solve tis issue?

The app works very well, but the deadspot it creates over everything is kind of annoying. It should only be active on the home screen

Totally not working for Xiaomi redmi note 2... If the developer could fix the bug it will be great.

I`m using it on a LG G3 because I decided to go with a custom launcher which removed the possibility of switching the screen off through double tapping avilable only on the default LG launcher.

My phone supports off screen gestures can u add a feature that can do it with screen off yu know what I mean?

I got it to try it out and it didn't work and now it wont let me uninstall it even though I already took it off of device administrators.

what else is there to say, - very useful, just what I need to avoid third party launcher(refuse to) and status bar tap. if only to modify it in such way that spot under it would still be functional (it response to double tap anyway), for example like swiping between screens, and if the whole screen would be overlayed would be a miracle (i understand that it's impossible on icons) . but still, definitely 5 starts. thanx.

This is great but I would like the double tapping not to override the waiting time before the phone locks to pin screen. As it is now you have to type in your pin every time you wake the phone even if you locked it just a few seconds ago. It is quite annoying .

This app would be great if the knock areas allowed swiping or single touch for continued interaction with areas below the knock area. It would also be better if the knock area size were able to be set individually in landscape and portrait. I hope these issues get resolved so that I can leave positive feedback instead of a negative review.

I liked the free version because even though the foot print of the knock area was small on my screen it turned invisible. I bought the pro version expecting that I could make the knock area larger which I could, however the knock area doesn't turn invisible and you end up with a size and color selectable obnoxious K floating around your screen instead of remaining static and invisible.

This app would have been great if it worked for the whole screen. I just went from the LG G2 to the Note 4 and loved my "Knock On" feature. I downloaded this app and the location where I put the "knock box" was right where my thumb goes, but I couldn't click anything in that spot... Namely the "t" on my keyboard. Fix it and I'll reinstall but I can't have an invisible box blocking me from clicking things on my phone.
