Circa for Wear for Android
App is free and supports both formats of Android Wear watches - square and round. Circa also allows you to block some apps from sending notifications. Just select "Notification history" in app and then block apps by pressing "more" button on right side.
If you want to support my work, please buy Circa Pro - for now it enables nothing, but in future it will bring more animations and features to Circa.

I often miss a message because my watch doesn't vibrate.
After updating, I lost notification history. Turns out I had to uninstall and reinstall. With that, I can now block apps that cause Circa headaches. Nothing like spending two hours clearing notifications. With this though, and much shorter timing, I am good.
Randomly crashes Moto360. Used to be really nice though.
This app let's me set up a notification color scheme I can read without my glasses on. I hope there are more options in the future.
I like the notification animation but it keep freezing the Asus Zenwatch, just today i had to reboot the watch 4 times.
Really slick and smooth :) my only problem with it is that since the notifications take over the whole screen, it interferes with actually telling the time. It would be cool if the overlay had a small clock there too. Something like that would push my rating up to five stars
Loved it initially but somewhere along the line an update caused notifications to freeze my smart watch, forcing me to restart my watch several times a day. Unstable, but hoping it gets sorted out quickly.
The reskinned notifications look great and I like them better than the cards but more often than not the notification never leaves. The watch becomes stuck on one notification and I can't swipe it clear or navigate the watch at all. I have to hold the power button for 15 seconds or so to turn it off. I'm using Circa on a Moto 360.
Would be great to have a way to toggle specific apps for notifications, and a way to force vibration (viber never let's me know when I get a message!)
After installation I've found that my 360 often becomes unresponsive, forcing me to restart the watch, touch to view also hasn't worked very consistantly yet. Aside from this, its great and can greatly streamline your smartwatch experience.
I love it but there is just two problems: I can't get to my app when I tap the notification on my watch, and the notification doesn't dismiss itself when the screen is on ambient mode, this is otherwise one of my favourite wears apps.
I've been using this for a few days now. So far, no problems. Greatly enhances the looks of the notifications.
Any chance of getting any new content soon?
The circular notification works but it shows the stock notification after the animation on my moto 360.
App does its job but a couple of suggested tweaks. 1. Menu item to delete history. 2. Menu item to block and more importantly unblock apps. 3. Menu item to purge notifications waiting to be sent to a disconnected device.
I loved the animation of the app and downloaded, used for 4 days, the app keep freezing my watch and draining my battery in 4-6 hours, I thought my watch face was doing this issue and changed the default one , still find freezing, then decided to uninstall the circa and found my watch back in game. 2
First of all looks really nice better than built-in cards. Next about the problems it freezes the android wear when notification arrives. Next lots of bugs. Some notification show up some don't show up. Behaves absurdly. Next once the notification is done it leaves a part of wall covered by the app it does go from android wear screen. Kindly update it. It has potential to become a better awesome app
I had this installed. Watch would randomly freeze and become unresponsive to touch. Would have to do the same as many on here and hard reset the 360 by holding down the crown for 30 sec. I like the app, just not the constant freezing 2 -3 times a day. I didn't realize that it was the Circa App and RMA'd the device with Motorola. It was only after reading the /r/moto360 subreddit did I find out it was the app.
it disables Moto 360 touch screen frequently. once this is fixed it will definitely be my go to utility to show off my device!
Notifications freeze my moto 360 after removing watch unfreezes, hope you can fix it. Pozdrawiam
something is seriously wrong. watch frizzes
I really like the look of the notifications but it just caused too many watch freezes to be usable.

*Updated review for 5.0* Not reliable on my Gear Live. Sometimes animation doesn't completes, sometimes it never goes off, and some other time the screen goes pitch black. Feels like beta. Phone app is really beautiful, but that's not the point. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but it just doesnt work as intended. Not predictable enough.
Great!!! More update ! Great App. What really need on a android wear Posted on a Chinese forum to spread this great app hope you won't mind
How can I see/configure my blocked apps? Also this froze my watch one time, not sure why or how
Definitely enhances the notification experience on my moto360. All it needs is a bit more customizability. Different animations? Responsive developer!
Is this app supposed to wake the watch's screen when you get a notification? If so mine doesn't do that. If not that would be an awesome feature. Also having a time for how long it stays on screen would be cool. Keep up the good work.
You should attach a video of it in action on your Play Store page. Not many people will know what does it do based on your screenshots. And also, you probably should slip in the words "Wear or Android Wear" on the Play Store app title, say, "Circa for Wear"?
I would like to have the ability to change the duration of the notification. Currently it pops up for a little bit too long and there's no way to dismiss the notification. Over time, i think this will be a very nice app.
Hi, this is a good start. Is it possible to add the capability to view notification history on watch itself ? At the moment, if we swipe away a notification, there is no way to pull it back out on demand.
This will probably be great someday, but they're are to many bugs for daily use right now.
Seems like there isn't any way to respond to the notifications at present though
Great app I love it but I've noticed when I have the watch charging for a long period of time and I remove it from the charger my notifications just keep coming endlessly until I hard reset my moto 360. I've also noticed that when I do this the watch is extremely drained. Had it on the charger for about 5 hours and when I removed it I had hundreds of notifications built up and after I hard reset my watch it was down to 33 percent. Is there any way you can make it so the app is disabled while charging?
Very well done! Can't wait for more themes (I'm terrible at color coordination on my own)! One thing that might make it even better (perhaps a pro-version exclusive feature?) is the ability to have different themes for different notifications. Ideally, I could have, say, green for text messages/hangouts, blue for emails, red for calendar appointments, etc. I don't know if this is possible, but it'd be a great feature! Second thing - Can you make an easy way to dismiss a notification? Maybe just tap it to make it go away?
This is great, it's very useful and cool.
Looks very elegant and works well on the 360. Can't wait for future updates.
Would be nice to see the responsiveness speed up. More transitions for sure! Would be nice to be able to upload a custom image to use as the background and custom fonts.
It is apps like this that will continue to make the wearables better and better.

App looks quite good so far. One issue I've had is when there is a constant notification on my phone (such as a notification signifying the phone is being charged), the animation will continuously open and close. Dismissing the notification on the watch does nothing, as it returns shorty. This is a severe annoyance, one that lead me to disable the app until it's fixed.
