Seeing Assistant Sailing

Seeing Assistant Sailing is an application developed by Transition Technologies S.A. It supports blind and visually impaired sailors. The main task of this app is providing a blind steersman with voice information about the current course. It is our priority that blind and visually impaired individuals can use this function as comfortably as possible. Seeing Assistant Sailing takes advantage of the latest technological solutions, including advanced accessibility features available on mobile devices.

Available functions:
• Information about the current course of sailing, speed and accuracy, provided cyclically and on demand (shake gestures available).
• Selecting and changing the set course either with easy-to-see buttons or voice recognition.
• Ability to set an acceptable deviation from the set course.

Note: Seeing Assistant Sailing requires a GPS receiver to be constantly on; it may affect the time, your device works on battery.
