AutoQ3D CAD

I have used Cinema4D and AutoDesk Maya I was hoping for a simplified version. This is NOT it. No way to move, scale, or rotate objects. No faces or edges. At best a horrible idea, at worst a scam.

This application seems to be abandoned, support does not respond to questions, the last update was a year ago as for the app it does what it says but lacks some true CAD features if one decides to make the $30 purchase I would advise quickly but carefully evaluate this app first so that if not satisfied you can request a refund. Unfortunately there are not many STAND ALONE 3d Cad programs in the Play Store right now

I have tried virtually all cad apps on the market and this one had more of the features I was looking for, most specifically being able to draw parts by dimension/location. I wish the app was more stylus friendly and didn't require a double touch to draw; I should be able to select draw-rectangle then press and drag my stylus to draw it. That's my biggest complaint. Fix that and it gets 5 stars.

Not real happy with it. Seems like it takes a lot of steps to do anything. But I'm hoping they simplify it and I'll keep trying to learn it.

I have spacerdaw its a more powerful tool but I could never get around to use it because it has a poor working interface. Plus the rims menu are too small, I have fat fingers. This app is less powerful but the interface makes it very easy to use withthe big buttons.

Do what it says and works very well. However essential features still missing: dimension lines and layers. Once we have them, the app will be great!

Nice addition to my note pro 12.2. A few more features and it could be a 5 star app.

Great update, beautiful design and more user friendly! I can use this to help find intersections and tool tangent points for cnc programming... For $30 to have a geometrically accurate 3d cad system on your smartphone... Unimaginable only a decade ago.

There's no dimensioning tool, blocks, layers, linetype and other things that you would need for a full cad package. And its not fully compatible with a pen or stylus. Also zooming in and out and navigating is difficult. Com ' on guys, you've had this for a long time, need to put in some improvement now.

I have been waiting for a proper 3D CAD application to use on my tablet and AutoQ3D has surpassed all expectations. This app is well worth the money. Although it may seem pricey for an app it is a full CAD suite allowing generation of 3D geometry in a touch screen environment, and in that field it can easily be considered a bargain. The multitouch mouse select/click is particularly innovative, and anyone familiar with 3D modelling and CAD should pick up the interface quickly. I literally cannot get enough of using this app.

What I really like is its versatility to use the touch screen feature on my note 2 but the s-pen doesn't seem to work that well at all and as a designer I just love to feel the use of the S-pen when I draw. Any Ideas on how I could make use of the pen instead of just using my fingers. Thanks

Android version on a 7" Galaxy S2 tablet is brilliant for house surveys. I'm still learning the system and exploring it's features. The tech guys always respond quickly to any problem and resolve within a few days. PDF output would be a useful addition.

Bought for samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and S3. Cant read my dxf drawing files. Only reasonI need a CAD program on the tablet is to read and modify dxf files I get from customers. Had to change my rating as the developers note that the program needs file extension to be lowercase. Opened one of my largest cad files and smoothly manipulated it.

These people have inspiring YouTube videos with techno music. But try to do those things and it just says error. Only the most rudimentary tutorial exists and nothing else. I had high hopes for this, but it seems I wasted my money on it. Wtf!

Everything works as designed. People will either love it or dislike it based on its functionality.

I cannot open any of the formats claimed to be supported by this app....disappointed!

It seems to work well for me so far, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to input US fractional measurements. The help/instructions are VERY minimal and don't cover half of the functionality. I use CAD on a daily basis so I am no stranger to CAD software. This needs better documentation.

Please provide further documentation for the application. I can't achieve a revolve feature without it asking me to select triangles first, but that protocol is never explained anywhere. I would love to be able to use this application.

This is an amazing program. If you are not a 3d design program engineer, you might be confused. It takes time to learn different programs

Could do with directional arrows and angle input dialog to current input dialog make to make quick inputs rather than relative and absolute co-ordinates (similar to pocket pc predeccsor CE CAD powercad)-I would think it would expand potential user base.Also I agree with other reviewer that it forces a close virtually every time its used (I am using a samsung galaxy s2).I think its a good start and ok for `mucking about with` its needs more refinement and stability before it becomes a useful smartphone app

hey guys what is this ? you people had told that 2d drawing will work on phone and it will open also . but they are not working ?

It's a start. Needs a lot of interface work to be friendly. I got 3 unlabeled force closes before I refunded. Will consider purchasing again if more is done to make it user friendly. Keep at it though. Personally I like the other options available to me.

I use this on my tab and it works great. Im currently dusting off my cad skills to design a nightclub.

One of the best things about this CAD program is it is cross-platform. You do have to buy for "windows/Linux", for "android", for "Mac" and for "ipad" but that's no drama at all for serious engineers/designers. Great team and great response time to emails on working days. Program is getting improved bit by bit. Team is open to suggestions and are willing to help. Is actively developed. I own AndCAD, rapidCAD and some other pos. AndCAD is good, but 2d only, and dev team seems to be dead. Likewise with rapidcad. My 5 stars are going to these guys now.
