About Circle Artist
Circle Artist allows you to turn a picture into a piece of art, built with circles.
It produces similar art work as the Percolator app that exists only for iPhone or iPad, but Circle Artist is designed with more practical purposes in mind. The result can be exported to a jpeg or png bitmap but the idea is to prepare the vector based svg file for laser cutting or cnc milling and bring you art work into real life. Circle Artist provides guider modules which will help you realizing this. Sticking wooden or cork disks to the wall guided by a projector... or bring your creation to a more ambitious level and create crop circles or impressive flower fields, guided by gps.

Just to set a correct expectation, given some feedback I received... This app is meant for people that want to create a real life artwork. The aim of this app is not to create impressive bitmap images... it's goal is to create a vector based result that can be used to create a real-life artwork (with laser cutters, cnc mills, ...). Have a look at the video to get a better idea. So beauty of the bitmap image is of minor importance than feasibility of the real life creation. For example... the fine tune step will not increase beauty, but will increase practical ease of creation. It reduces the number of circles by eliminating the less relevant ones. However with this step you loose of course detail.

Just like the title says. One you complete your editing you are unable to save your work. Defeats the purpose of paying for an app. It's more like a trial app if anything.

Wasn't really happy with the "finished" results. Once I liked the image before fine tuning but I couldn't save it. If this app compares itself to another then they should either point out exactly what the differences are or deliver by giving comparable results. There will be circles...thats about all I can say. If the app were more user friendly I would keep it but it's not and didn't give me what I was looking for. 'Settings' doesn't provide any options. Sometimes wouldn't let means we change the picture
