Does exactly what it is needed to dev film. Easy to use, manage recipes and alter dev times.

of developing times for most popular b&w films. and it is all, no color films, no slides. abilities to define own processes are very limited: - can't make notes - can't define own film format (i want to save developing time for 8mm tri-x with 200 ISO, i know this is movie film but i want to have all data in one place) - can't set dilution (i use pmk in 15+25+1000) - can't set temperature higher than 86F - can add slides and color films? process is very simply but why do not have it all in one database?

Where are the recipes? Where do I add my own recipies and tasks?

Very useful app to say the least. Recommended it to my Photography Professor and he bought the Pro version. Very handy to have the info in one place without having to look things up all the time. The app does have some tweaks that would make it easier such as ability to setup a process and drag and drop order it without having to build the entire process. Still love the app though.

It's hooked up to the massive Dev chart so all the numbers are in the system. I have a small wish list but this is a super app.

If you are trying to develop your first film forget it. Help menu is zero help. Otherwise an OK tool.

Aftet update latest version its turn out lousy.. Consider to uninstall...

W70%

Greatest app in the store until they updated it into oblivion. Buggy as hell now, crashes constantly because the dev decided to sell out and put ads all through it. Download something else.

T70%

I was very happy to use this app until the very latest update. The constant nagging pop up during operation has made this otherwise good app into an annoyance. I've uninstalled and bought a Gralab timer instead.

Excellent app would love to see a optional time for stop bath and fixer but great idea and helps out with developing process. No more looking up each time for pushing and pulling either..

Like all other darkroom apps out there, this app has a serious flaw for darkroom development (i.e. tray, dip + dunk etc) in that you can't start the timer from a *black* screen. The phone backlight, even with a black colour, will fog film. You need to turn it off and let the user start the timer with the volume button or something. Another major flaw, again for darkroom dev. is that you don't get an end timer event/noise. You have no idea when to stop. For daylight tank dev, which I assume most people will be doing, this app works fine because you have no need to maintain a black environment. I haven't tried with paper but I have a few doubts about the red mode. I'm not sure if the wavelength of light is that of a safelight, but then again, paper is quite forgiving compared to film regarding fogging.

Wih my cheap 10" chinese pad, i can't move from first disclaimer screen. In transparence i can see the app underside, but no matter how much i tap, slide, press buttons... the only choice available is to get out from the app!

App had worked flawlessly up until today, when i tried to open it up it informed me the free version had expired and i needed to upgrade to the paid version. Seriously uncool. Don't even bother trying to reinstall it to get around it like i did, as it will just further your disappointment.
