I have to Uninstall and install all of the time just to get it to work. Never wants to connect even when I'm sitting right next to it!

Not dependable. Broken more than it works. Buy something else.

But the app only wants to work half of the time. It freezes up and then I end up just using the monitor to watch. Fix this problem with the app and this would be the best video monitor out right now!

I won't buy any more lorex products .nothing works as it should with the care system I have, and the lorex ping I purchased prior lost it's night vision just a year after it was purchased.

We bought this monitor because of the remote view app. That was my #1 requirement in choosing a monitor. The monitor is great but this app is CRAP! Rarely it will work fine then nothing. The app will show the camera is online and I will go to view it and it's nothing but blackness. I've only managed to fix this problem twice by resetting everything. But that only works half the time itself. I could of paid at least $50 less for the next model down with no remote view but of course it's to late now!

The app worked on our cell phones (both Moto X 2013) for about a month or maybe 2. Now the app does not work. Any time we try to view, it tells us Connection Failed. Monitor is docked on the cradle, we have Wireless N at home with 75 up and down. We now have 2 different camera's at home that we cannot connect to when not at the house. Lorex Support could only help with hardware issues, not the app.

This app is not compatible with the iPhone six. $200 down the drain, as I need to be able to monitor my twins without going into their room. What a waste of money to have time to move on to something else as Lorax can give me an idea of how long it may be months. Unacceptable. If you can have my children wait to be sick, I can wait to be able to monitor them.

Won't connect

I love the camera and the monitor, but the app rarely connects. It took weeks fiddling around with it to finally figure out that the cable that came with it to set it up didn't work. Once I replaced it with my own I got the app connected a couple times, but that's it! The main reason I got this is so I could view from work and for family to view from out of state. But since the app rarely works I think I'll be returning the camera.

Camera quality is good but needs a lot of light in order for the camera to get out of night mode. The app is very worthless. Basically connects only half the time if ever. Doubt lorex will ever update the app but here is to wishing.

This app has yet to work on my or my husband's phone. Very frustrating. ***update - it is now 2 months later and this app still doesn't work. Of course it's too late to take back the monitor so we're stuck with it. You're better off buying a security camera. ***

Doesnt always connect but that seems to be the wifi cradle disconnecting. Does not keep the camera video quality setting....need to keep going back and turning it up to max from medium. Framerate is quite good...better than expected. Nice to have audio also.

Just follow directions. Far better than my old Foscam

I am not happy with this app. It does not support android system and is not responsive with the cam. I spent 150 for this camera and one of the selling points was the ability to use the cell phone as a display if we wanted. So far I have been duped by false advertisement. I have spoke with tech support and tried all trouble shooting with them. Please fix this app.

Initially had issues connecting to the network in that the QR code scan didn't work but I was able to add manually ONLY after I simplified my password to not include special characters. Using the app to monitor three cameras between my 3 year old and newborn twins. Works as advertised. Wish it did two-way audio and could auto-rotate camera views, but perhaps in a future release.

The app only works half the time. Seems like a good idea but get the app fixed and it would be great

This thing sucks. I think the camera and system itself are okay but this app is absolutely useless. Won't connect at all no matter how many times I reinstall. One of the main reasons I got this system was to be able to monitor rooms when I'm not home but you can forget doing that with this app. Not even worth the memory on my phone.

Worked for about a week. Now monitor works but app does not. Tech support sucks majorly. Wished I could give it no stars.

I don't know what problems others are having, but camera was easy to set up and Android app works great for viewing anywhere. You have to have your separate monitor that comes with the system docked and turned on for this Android app to work.

Reinstalled and still doesn't work!! Disappointed!!

The product works for the most part. However, the Android app is heinous. The only thing worse then the app is the tech support. They are dismissive and uninformed. They were not helpful if you had the 20minutes to hold until you get through.This is a perfect example of a product that works pretty well but the support mechanisms are whack. The wretched support for this product makes it not worth having and for the price. . PAAAAAA LESE.
