Fast and Easy download and installation. The same features and options (except for the ON selection) were available to select as on my broken remote, just took awhile to get used to as most new devices do. Understandable that the 'ON' selection is not functional or available is because WiFi signal is not produced when the TV is in the stand-by mode. Definitely a 'lifesaver' and keeper. PS... there wasn't any annoying advertising that I noticed, which made it even more pleasant to use.

Absolutely useless! Doesn't find the Philips TV 43PFT6100 and doesn't play a single thing.

I can't connect the remote control, I pressed "select device " but I couldn't find any device? ? While I can share files normally to my TV!! please support.

Pay some programmers Phillips. The design of the app is a disaster. Unusable. It should support a home page where you choose your favorite buttons. Damn, it should be a widget even. Plus the TV is slow as hell also. I'll buy only irons from you now.

Worked ok for a while, although won't turn on my tv from stand by. Now every time I start the app it stops my tv responding to the app or the actual tv remote ! Have to reset the tv by unplugging it, waiting a minute then trying again. Awesome....

The app is instable on my Galaxy S3. It crashes continously. The offered function on the Galaxy S3 are way too basic to even remotely replace the actual remote. It just enough to annoy the person that currently has the actual remote. Without the stability issues I'd give it 3 out 5 for the phone, with them the app is more or less useless. I have also tried it on my tablet (Galaxy Tab 2), there at least the offered functionality is ok, and the stability is much better. For the tablet I'd say the App ist just ok, nothing to write home about.

Not visible. I don't think you are using this app. I have since years now Philips tvs..so simple things you can not manage?!

M70%

In theory a good app, but the TV is discovered on a random basis only. Sometimes it helps to close the app and reconnect Wi-Fi. I'm unsure if this is a TV firmware issue or app issue. Anyway. Needs improvement.

Please fix: if i'm watching a channel from favorites then the wifi smart screen function does not work on my mobile or tablet(The error is that i don't have digital channels installed)... If i change and select the same channel from general list then the wifi smart screen works fine.... 1 week after the review .... not working at all :( ... just go back 2 versions and will solve the mirroring issue pleeeeeeaaaaze

I don't understand what everyone is crying about. The app does exactly what it should do. The only thing is that since the last update, I keep getting the pop-up that he can't connect to my tv but, it's connected. After pop-up the remote is automatically closed so it's a little inconvenient but no big deal.

If watching a loading graphic is your thing, go nuts. What can't Philips just put buttons on the bloody device in the first place?

W70%
by W####:

Works neatly, and is more responsive than standard included remote. However, lacks some features and also cannot wake my BDP5700 from standby. I've still got to switch it on manually, which is a weird glitch.

Bought a new 65" that is clearly on the network. However when I try to get a list of available devices it just spins. Also I think it's pointless to write anything here. Doubt any Philips technicians are reading here anyway. Updated October 2014? WTF?

Crappy interface the "slide to the sides" means I often hit "stop" instead of changing pages to check on time information. No customization. Whoever thought taking a physical remote and doing the same thing with a touchscreen was an idiot. It's even worse on tablet, as it's the exact same interface that takes up a tiny corner of the tablet, still paging through wiping left and right. Ludicrous since the whole thing would fit on the screen. I'd like something that offers me the same functionality with a less awkward GUI.

Just a basic for which too much of effort. Looks like that to show they too have an app. Grow up Philips. Either change yr RnD or make them to work.

When I first got my Philips Smart TV, I used this app a lot. Some time later tough, I ended up realizing it provides little difference than using the traditional TV remote, except for when you need to type something. It's nice to have the ease of controling your TV from your phone, but this app could be much better. Controls are scattered across several different screens, and the navigation is painful. Features like miracast or content sharing either do not work or suffer from lazy implementation. Bad one.

My Phillips smart TV, does not support Youtube anymore and other apps disappeared too ( like TED ). No more software updates available. So it's no longer smart TV. I am totally pissed off like other Phillips tv owners. So this app is useless anyway. I will never buy Phillips TV ever again ! It was big mistake.

Only the simplyshare service shows up. The other are only shown in help and setup. This is with a pus7100 TV and a Motorola moto x play phone. I was only interested in the remote control, i.e., the app is useless for me

Great idea to mirror the screen of the TV to the smartphone/tablet. However there is one problem: when i want to shut down the TV while I am screen mirroring to my HTC One M8 (android 5.0.1) the app crashes and cannot connect to the tv anymore. The TV (pfs7509/12) has to be restarted in order to connect again to Philips MyRemote app.

This app is has a keyboard which is great, but no mouse pointer which renders it almost useless for browsing the internet. Some links u just cannot click on without a mouse. Looks like ur only option is to physically plug in a mouse!!! Good luck

Does not resemble Philips in anyway. Could be made better. Simply, main screen for most basic and frequently used buttons in a TV remote, and an advance mode for the rest of the functions.

The only reason I downloaded this is so I could use WiFi Smart Screen to stream TV to my tablet. One of the reasons I chose a Philips TV. However I keep getting a message saying it needs to be activated on my TV. There is no option on my TV to switch it on (I have a 42PFT6309/12) and I am assured this feature is on my TV. Seems to be a lot of folk with this TV having the same problem. Will revert to using the iR blaster on my tablet until this issue is sorted (fingers crossed).

It is totally functional and working and has all of the keys on the actual remote of my Philips tv, but the user interface could have been more appealing.
