This might be the right app that I've been searching for. I downloaded it just to see if it's good enough, well with it's nice and simple layout and easy enough to navigate around. Sure enough I'll be reading and writing nihongo if only I get around doing it. I highly recommend this app to those who already know hiragana and katakana and are looking to the next step.

D70%
by D####:

There is no uninstall button when I try to uninstall this app through settings. I am talking about all 3 apps, katakana, hiragana, Kanji. Can only uninstall through playstore. Try to rectify this.

V70%
by V####:

Rubbish. When you draw the first line the second one deletes regardless of the accuracy of the answer.

M70%
by M####:

The app isn't bad but it's a little dishonest to not say it has adds in the playstore when it actually has. Other than that a decent app and the small adds are not intrusive or stop you from ignoring them.

M70%
by M####:

A really good app with good explanation for every kanji . it's neat fast and I didn't find any problem with uninstall feature.

Very promising only lacking audio and it'd be perfect.

Thank you, Cornerstone Studio for developing 3 Free Apps in studying Japanese language. I downloaded all of those. Thanl you! :D I can now read manga without waiting for the translated versions :)

By far the most helpful and easiest app to learn the basic. Along with the Hiragana and Katakana apps. The examples you read make you feel like you're actually learning which keeps you motivated. Highly recommended.

Great app for learning all aspects of Kanji fast.

This app won't teach you several hundreds of Kanji; it will teach you the basics, how they work, what they are, how they're combined and it will make sure you understand it. An excellent resource. Two things I'd like to see improved: 1) the font size can't be changed (unless your device is rooted like mine) and 2) you can't see the title of the lesson in the menu, just the words "lesson 1/2/3" etc which makes it hard to go back and review a specific lesson.

R70%
by R####:

Introduces kanji in a logical way, building in complexity. The lessons themselves are excellent, but the app needs a bit of work. A "next chapter" button would be a huge QOL addition. The settings button doesn't do anything. When practicing writing kanji, some times your strokes just disappear. It seems like a long press might trigger it, but sometimes it doesn't & sometimes it does. No matter how careful I am when drawing, I can't seem to avoid accidentally triggering it.

F70%
by F####:

Romaji is devil script. You need to check your readings, though. For example, wtf is ひとひ? 1日 is ついたち.

X70%
by X####:

The app seems correct. The font size is too small for me so I clicked on Settings to see if I could change them. And... no reaction, no access to settings. On Nexus 10 with Lollipop.

Hands down the easiest explanations i have seen...but i think theres a bug...in lesson 1 its written"standalone characters use kun yomi as you have seen from above examples" but what i have seen was it was on yomi that ws used for standalone kanji characters....plz if you could confirm

It is okay but there are several mistakes. For example, in lesson 3, the next to the last kanji character... the third usage example says in English "I am going to the river" but the sentence in Japanese says "I am going to the mountain". Merely annoying for those who already know special of this. I'm sure it's confusing for beginners.

X70%
by X####:

I love the fact that there is no romaji. That would have made it very confusing.

X70%
by X####:

Personally ,this app is a very good tool to start learning kanji. Thanks

K70%
by K####:

This app has a good explanation of concepts, but there are a few mistakes, especially in the stroke order for the writing section.

S70%
by S####:

I love this app. Introduces Kanji appropriately by teaching them basic characters. Basic rules, pronunciations, etc.

Q70%
by Q####:

Very intelligent introduction. One would dream of something like that to learn all 2000-odd basic kanjis. A bug: In lesson 3, 山 is translated as river.

R70%
by R####:

Thank you so much for this app!!! I love your efforts!!!

X70%
by X####:

Maybe even advanced learners. I got Hiragana and Katana down, but this app has got me motivated to practice Kanji. Thanks a ton!

L70%
by L####:

I'm finding this very useful. I do notice, however, that the third lesson teaches the character 行 with an example that translates 山 as "river".

X70%
by X####:

How to write? I can only write horizontal

X70%
by X####:

Interesting and maybe good for beginners but too short and doesn't function well on my device.

F70%
by F####:

Great app... as a beginner, Im finding this very easy to learn from yet challenging enough to keep me interested... love it!
