Minimalist Call Confirm for Android
Works well with contacts. And if I use the dial pad: once I confirmed a call, I have the dialed number with this additional ++++ in the call log. And from now on I can call them without confirm. Lollipop (5.0.2)
My other call confirm app didn't like the new dialer in Android 6, this app works perfectly.
This app has not been updated since 2014 but it work on Android 7.1.2 and it don't require crazy permissions.
This only works on you numbers numbers you have already dialed. New numbers do not ask to confirm. ZenFone ze551ml
Excellent! Very useful. Beautiful blue colour. Working properly. Sony XA1. Android 7.0. Thanks so much. Lee
Not working on Redmi note3..not able to call any contact number..uninstalling..
Works everytime, no issues after 1 yr of use
Works pretty well on KitKat
Still it works pretty well
When Bluetooth paired to car (VW 2016 Golf R with MIB2), app offers option to auto turn off confirmation feature. Perfect! Otherwise, you would have to fumble with your phone to make the call connect. When not in the car, it returns to its Enabled setting, requiring confirmation before connection. Just what I was looking for! Well done!
Minimal permissions, no intrusive information leaking. Simple.
Saves me from making calls by accident. Works every time, too.
Also vibrate on asking confirmation to revive user
doesn't work (SM-N915FY Android 5.1.1)
This is the best one.
Best call confirm app. Simple, unobtrusive, no spyware permissions.
Had the odd slower responce but 99% of the time its perfect. Shameful it's not integrated on stock as it's a necessity, kudos to dev for creating the app and solving the problem.
Wouldn't let me call a number I WAS trying to call and had to make 3 attempts to actually connect the call!
Does not work on Vodafone smart prime 6.
Tried enabling & stuff... Just couldn't get it to work on my HTC One

Amazing and simple worked on lolipop
For Android 5.02 :(
It just works

Lollipop 4.1 still has some bugs, one of which is those irritating butt calls . This takes care of it on my Nexus 6 very smartly and I assume with a minimal footprint. Try it, you'll like it.
Minimalist and effective.
To those saying slow, I'm running this on a 1.2ghz phone and it's not slow. Your whole system is probably slow because you don't know any better lmao. Thanks Dev your app is excellent and has caught every accidental call on my phone, problem solved.
It sucks
Fixes up the Dialler which has been broken with KitKat as I kept calling people instead of seeing their details like it was in JB. Also returns the feature to select which app is to make the call (Skype or Dialler).
Super app
Some kind of call confirmation should be part of any Android, Minimalist Call Confirm makes it seem like it is part of ICS. If only it did not take up the whole screen, pretty please :]
Contrary to what others have reported, I find that on my stock (though rooted) Nexus 4, I am not experiencing any delay between clicking a contact to call and getting the 'are you sure' popup from this app.
Thanks so much :).
Fast..thnx
Excellent app. This ought to be part of the stock operating system. Some people are saying it's slow, but I've never noticed a problem with speed. It's super fast on my phone (HTC-One).
I liked it. I have a suggestion: when Bluetooth is turned on, or maybe when a specified device is connected to the phone the app could temporarily disable itself.
They should really add a slider confirmation, because if you butt dial someone you cn easily also hit "yes" accidentally too.
