Pentatonic Guitar Training for Android
It's good to use
Yep guess it's not for beginners and I DO know a few scales but with no instructions I am lost!!!!
I guess it's not for beginning musicians or something.
Useless!!
It helps explain how to use. For those who refuse to watch.... the left lines( horizontal) represent the strings from the low e at the bottom and higher e at the top.the top(vertical) lines reprrsent the frets. Hope this helps! Cant wait to use.
On a tablet, it seems there is no way to change settings. Maybe you could make an options button onscreen. As it is, tablet is stuck in E.
its helping me wit so much
Good game
Very good for me
Does what it says
Amazing tonal response, nice graphics. But if the purpose is to learn pentatonic scales, you might actually identify them?!? You pick a root note and you get a little green dot, but all the strings are green and every interval is green and all the note names are white, and they're all shown at the same so nothing except the root is seen. How about making all the notes pertinent to the scale in question a DIFFERENT color, say red for example, so you can instantly see the scale you want to learn?!
Awesome!!!
Unlike other one-way apps that just "let you do stuff" this one not only shows you what you should be doing (just like a teacher does) but also "listens to" what you are playing (just like a good teacher would) so that you can get instant feedback and improve. Suggestion for developer - use that microphone to let folks practice along with a real guitar while the app monitors the frequency of the note played. Guitar tuners already detect octave and notes so it should be relatively painless to re-purpose an existing tuner code to accomplish this. Oh and a movable and/or rotating fretboard would be nice since in the current layout the presets get in the way of a natural left/right hand grip (why would anyone practice hunt-and-peck style? Finally, getting rid of the "spread-sheet" style layout and replacing it with six simple lines without borders but with hotspots just above the fret and on the string would bring this much closer to perfect. Good luck and thanks for an amazing app!

Looks cool but I have no clue what's going on.
