Ivá

Es un aplicativo para celulares y tabletas (sistema operativo Android) para que
niños de 3 a 5 años aprendan a través de imágenes y sonidos, contenidos básicos
sobre el alfabeto, los números, la familia, los colores, partes del cuerpo humano,
animales, frutas y expresiones básicas en lengua taushiro.

La lengua taushiro es una de las 47 lenguas indígenas peruanas y es hablada actualmente
en la localidad de Intuto, capital del distrito de El Tigre, provincia y departamento de
Loreto. Es un idioma en situación crítica ya que cuenta con un solo hablante fluido actualmente identificado, el Sr. Amadeo García García. Aunque existen parientes de Amadeo García que se autoidentifican como taushiro, éstos solo entienden poco o nada de la lengua.

Esta App forma parte del proyecto Adaptación e Investigación en Sistemas de Información sobre Biodiversidad, Ambiente, Biocomercio y Biotecnología - SITEC II, programa BIOINFO, del Instituto de Investigaciones de la Amazonía Peruana - IIAP, con el apoyo del Ministerio de Cultura que tiene la finalidad de salvaguardar las lenguas originarias de la amazonia peruana.

El Instituto de Investigaciones de la Amazonía Peruana - IIAP. es una institución de investigación científica y tecnológica para el desarrollo, especializada en el uso sostenible de la diversidad biológica en la región amazónica que realiza sus actividades en forma descentralizada, promoviendo la participación de las instituciones públicas, privadas y sociedad civil.
