CPU Memory Monitor for Android
This kind of app should be included by default in Android OS. Any respectable OS has some default program to monitor AND control the apps by the USER.
OK, but why have a list view that doesn't scroll by default? Where is the filter? And the popup doesn't contain live data...
At last I was able to find the app using my cpu and saving me a lot of battery power. Thanks to developer.
Resident mem and VM not showing. Greyed out in sort options. At least CPU processes showing. On LP 5.1.1.
Does what it says on the tin. If you think some columns are missing, turn your device to landscape mode.
Thank you Pavel
My phone is 3 years old, so no more Android updates from T-Mobile. I intend to use my phone for another 3 years, so this utility is invaluable for troubleshooting bugs in Android that have long been fixed. I've managed to come up with two workarounds for bugs in Android 4.3 over the past week and my phone is now working better than new. Tip one: Disable User Dictionary. Tip two: If Fused Location is going haywire, uninstall apps one by one and this app will help you find the culprit.
After last android update on nexus5 to 5.1.1 I cannot see anymore the list of processes... Only cpumonitor is listed. Please fix!
Doesn't show running processes. Other comments hint that this may be a problem on Lollipop?
Ui is so poor is one thing one can live with but so poor it won't scroll when you have many processes now that's a fail--Edit--there is an option to enable scroll in menus not enabled by default, its not helpful if you have large fonts though since it only scrolls down so some columns are hidden
Does not work on lollipop 5.1.1
Extremely helpful
Progresses listed so close to each other making it hard to press on the progress I wanted
Best app I've found to give real time visibility on CPU and memory usage.
I just installed this and it doesn't report memory usage. That column is missing unlike the screenshot.
Simple, but strong!
Great app
Extremely helpful
Good app but super ugly icon :)
You can't scroll the list, seriously?
It's not fancy or graphical, no bells and whistles or any decoration like that. I don't mind at all, because at the moment this app is the only app on the market that displays CPU time. I suppose that the people who are interested in CPU time probably don't care about graphics that much either, so this app is just perfect for a particular niece audience.
Great application. Memory usage only shows when i use the app in landscape, wish it also showed in portrait because there a lot of screen estate is really empty.. Maybe it can be added as an option to force columns in portrait. Maybe font size can be made configurable too. Thanks
It DOES work!.If you're ever curious as to what's using so much CPU, here's the place to look. Very simple and effective. Thanks!
An app that shows cpu time! Been looking forever. Thank you!
Very convenient little app, I use it often, great job, it also works as is on my Motorola Xoom
Can't scroll through program list
Finally found this app after installing at least a dozen just to figure out what was eating up the CPU on my phone. Would be nice to have a little formatting improvements (visual layout), but that and the fact that it is at the top of the list of CPU Usage are my only complaints. Great app!
Everything I need and nothing I don't and no ads. Fantastic.
Good, but the display extends beyond a single screen and is not scrollable. The app is probably not much useful for an average user.
It is simple and that expected .
easy, no permisions
Small and useful!
Exactly what I needed.
Without graphs
It shows 98MB used when it is really 300 or more.
as a linux user, i use such program very often. but it's hard to find a program which shows what i want. like cpu time. and, could u add some more feature to show the infos in /proc ? and, could u allow it to scroll to show more process? make it somehow like "htop". xD thank you!
CPU Memory Monitor enables easy identification of apps that are hogging cpu and memory. Use with Micro CPU Monitor so you can identify when cpu is pinned at 100 percent and then bring up CPU Memory Monitor to identify the errent process or app.
There are so many memory managers/monitors available, but I've had a hard time finding a good CPU usage monitor. This is very simple and gets the job done, but it is basically the same as using the top command in Terminal Emulator.
As others have said font control would be necessary addition. It might be nice to have a text log so that this tool could be used to track intermittent app usage. I've observed that some apps wake up cause cpu spikes and go back to sleep.

It could do with an extra column giving the app icon and app name, so that we can see which apps the processes relate to.
