About Accelerometer Recorder

This application takes the vector magnitude of the accelerometer, displays and records it to a textfile on the phones SD card so that recorded values can be viewed.

Most applications will show the x,y and z values of the accelerometer, which are fine to view the orientation of the phone. This application shows the vector magnitude of the phone, which is the force of the weight exerted on the phone in m/s at any given time.
When the phone is at rest, the value should plateaux at approx 9/8 m/s. When the phone is dropped, the value should be ~0m/s as the phone is in free fall and no forces are being exerted on the accelerometer.

It is useful for viewing typical accelerometer values when the phone screen cannot be seen or plugged into a computer (e.g. worn in a pocket)

Does exactly what it says in the description.

Where does it records? What does it records? Only start & stop & exit. No setup menu button. Has zero use.

Does nothing

Z70%
by Z####:

Poorly documented, constant alert message, un-useful output. EVO 3d

...and doesn't deliver. It says that it shows the vector, but it actually only prints its value. Andre the boasting about the vector's modulus is funny, as it is a simple sqrt of the sum of squares.

B70%
by B####:

Almost exactly what i was looking for, to help analyse my boarding technique. With columns for position and heading, i would be able to generate vector graphs for my descent. Lmk if you would are open to collaboration.

Constantly prints the total force as opposed to each vector. No visual display either. Better free apps available.
