About Busbell
Play games, listen to music, take a nap…and NEVER miss the stop again!
Busbell is the GPS alarm clock for the public transit commuter. When you get close to your destination or transfer point an alarm will go off, allowing you to sleep, study, work, or read knowing you will be alerted as your stop approaches.
Features:
★ Busbell allows you to set one or more alarms for each waypoint on your commute.
★ Busbell allows easy creation of each destination or transfer point with a map and a comprehensive search function.
★ If you can't see out the window, Busbell will let you know where you are and how far it is to the next destination.
★ Bookmark frequently used locations.
★ Destination preview/street-view.
Some fine print:
★ Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. For trips longer than 20km we do some clever stuff to help mitigate this.
★ GPS has to work for the app to work. We haven't tried it, but app might be less stable in the NYC subway system.
★ You need WiFi or cell access for the map to search and set destinations.
★ Busbell is a free app created by engineers who slept through one too many stops. If you like it and have ideas for making it better, tell us! busbell@paaxsoft.com
