This app allows you to do something pretty awesome: open DA 4856 forms and edit them. That whole initial experience is ruined in the application of it. Can't edit administrative data on loading pre-existing forms (even the date). Also spending time pecking in a counseling on Android keyboard only to find it didn't save is the height of infuriation.

Great concept but the file format is out of date. The army has moved on to pdf and the xfdl format is a pain to deal with.

Is worthless until this app updates to use the most recent DA form 4856, July 2014 PDF format. The Army got rid of XFDL documents. If you will update... I will use.

The Army has transitioned to pdf-f. Please adjust and I'll adjust my rating

Great app for on the go but more support for selecting different documents and a preview would be awesome.

Needs to be able to allow Users to Put an actual signature in the Counselee and Counselors blocks . Also would be great if we could save it as a PDF File, being that effective 1 Oct 2014 the Army is mandating that all forms be in PDF format

Can't edit forms and won't save forms or email at all. Needs way more time worked on then it already has had. Please fix.

App will not let me email to myself. When I try to locate file created in .xfdl format it can't complete action. When I load file up individually to send as an email from My Documents file , upon opening it loads an Error message in Lotus Forms Viewer

You can't erase the unit and counselor blocks

Where it's says unit and counselor, it won't let me delete that to fill my own info. Fix that and it will probably be a fine app

Did 3 performance counseling's at the motor pool the other day on my phone. By the time I got back to the company they were ready to print and be signed. Ths is an awesome program, and I think a must have for any NCO. Can't wait to see what comes next.

App does what it says with no problems. I can type and send/save counselings on the fly. The only thing I could ask for more is the ability to edit my counselings as well. Maybe even add an ability to print to Google cloud printing. If you can incorporate editing, I will gladly give you 5 stars

I just completed three counselings and emailed them. Got to the computer and had a pureedge error. Tried to find them on my phone... because I saved them, but no where to be found!!! BUILD A SAVE FILE FOR THIS APP!!!!!!!

This is what We needed

Poorly designed. Not what I needed at all.

When I try to send the file to any of my email address the file fails to send. Out of 3 counseling only one sent correctly. A work around is just to write it up then copy and paste the text to a standard email then transfer that to the 4856

It is easy and convenient when you have to write a counseling statement on the go. A must have app for any leader.

Good app to view and edit. Needs a way to save more magic bullets or be able to load generic counseling, and to be able to edit admin. Save issue is frustrating also.

I like this app. My only issue is that it doesn't save changes a lot of the time. Fix that, and you have 5 stars.

E-mail part need to be fix cause there's no need to have this app if you are unable to email to print

PERFECT!!! LETS ADD SOME MORE DA FORMS AND WE GOT A WINNER, TRUST ME WE ALL ARE BUYING THESE THAT KNOW HOW TO USE THEM, THIS IS A CONVIENENT WAY TO DO THIS WHILE IN THE FIELD AND LIMITED COMPUTER USAGE.

Works great as far as submitting your own counseling to yourself on the go but at times the system does not save the name and title info. Other than that, all information is saved on the phone and in the proper DA format. My go to tool.

Doesn't work

Works great for on the spot corrections. I can do them when event happens and print later.

Once you save the counseling for the first time you can no longer save and edit it. Please fix

Just started using it. I share and office and 1 laptop with my FIST and 2x MTR Sections and it's a struggle trying to get these done. Glad I found this app.

This app would save or email all you have to do is change the file name and your good

I can save and its very convenient but when I send to my email it never sends the attachment so I can never print it out!!!!
