kWS Pro (Android Web Server) for Android
Downloads fails from android web server.
worked great until the new version which keeps going offline whenever an attempt is made to download a file.
There is no button for or anything I can click to go to settings!! Edit: never mind figured it out

Pro Version Works Installed the Pro version after testing free and just added my local IP address to the settings bind and the server works fine on 10.0.0.100:8080. I only really need this for mobile dev with DroidEdit and PocketGit to serve locally on the phone to Chrome Mobile. My only concern is it has not been updated in a while but at least it works. Hope it keeps working...
Simply amazing app that turns an Android device into a fully functional web server. I'm running it on a low-end 1 ghz device with no problems encountered.
Failed to start on a Lenovoi Yoga 2 tablet. Am using the free version without issue though.

Good
Cool app.lots lots of options.I tried port 80 N 8080 didn't do good,so I tried 13306 N it worked so well.I loved dis app as a web server.big thnks dev.....
This is an awesome app! Keep up the good wrk...
Can be used for production sites or demos in a conference room. Very useful, clean, and fast.
Quick and easy to start!
For such a small app this is great. Unfortunately all my pages use SSI and it won't parse .shtml files (just displays the html source as text) so I can't use it. If it's a setting I've missed (I've found the obvious one) then let me know and I'll up my rating to 5 stars.
I installed free version, and then bought PRO. Both are installed and in PRO version i have IP 0.0.0.0 instead of real one, that can be seen in free... any solutions?
Or if left blank binds to 0.0.0.0
Very well with anonify.lots lots of option.thanks dev.thumbs up.
I needed to host a site for viewing only by a few people - we did not have permission to put the site on-line so this was a perfect solution. I setup my S4 mini with the site, visited my clients and they viewed on laptops and iPad. I used WiFi direct on my phone (with data OFF!) and the customer connected to my WiFi directly and opened a browser. It would be nice to be able to fix the IP, that's one niggle I have with it. Port 80 is not available (due to being assigned already) so the other niggle is having to enter the full IP:Port on the browser. If the full URL could be sent/displayed to the client, that would be brilliant (maybe show a QRCode for the client phone/tablet to scan?)
Run a Website in your pocket!
Most useful app ever. Found a bug where if you set the port to 80 you cannot start the server.
I use this app constantly. Have a number of web pages that I've mirrored, and this allows me to put them on the sd card and use them offline. Truly awesome!
Seems to not be working on Cricket service eather. Same problem the other guy had with Sprint. HTC Evo 4G on Cricket
Its almost charity for the price thank you so much!
Only issue I have is I can't force it to use port 80. Hopefully I find something for that, other than that, great app!
Does the job perfectly. Would like a few additional features like custome mime types.
Droid RAZR - flawless app.
Very good.
Sprint appears to be denying public IPs to mobile devices now, so this app is practically useless unless you're running it over wifi. Then, you will need to have DMZ or port forwarding enabled for your phone. If you don't know how to do either one of those, then you probably shouldnt be trying to use a web server anyway. Especially a mobile one. Other than that, this is perfect. I couldnt ask for anything better.
Does exactly what it is supposed to. Very active development. Excellent!
Best web server available for android, except every time I turn off the server, it doesn't unbind the port correctly. It fails to bind until I reboot.
Great app, but needs more scripting support(like php, cgi and the like.). Keep up the good work.
Some documentation would be highly appreciated, json/xml examples..etc
Pro Works well on Rooted Zenithink ZT-180. I wish I had read the description better. Clearly not ready for php and most useful to xml/Json developers.

Lacks documentation for advanced [pro] features so unusable waste of money
