About mu Barometer
A simple barometer for monitoring atmospheric pressure. The goal of μBarometer is to be useful, small and elegant.

The pressure graph shows the change in pressure in 48 hours.
To collect data μBarometer runs a small service which saves the pressure value every hour.
The altitude value are based on the current pressure value.
For quick switching between pressure/altitude indicators just tap on the indicator icon.
You can measure the relative altitude.
Just tap on the altitude indicator and it will show the relative altitude from the current point.

No nonsense does what it promises

Sony Xperia Active, Android 4.0.4. Ads not obstructive and an inexpensive version allows to get rid of them. Pressure readings depend on phone sensor,. Only 1 calibration method: input difference between desired pressure and application readings: not by location altitude. Calibration doesn't jeopardize the graph, just changes scale values. Graph far too small to be of use if user moves (changes altitude) due to autoscale. Application only useful if used at constant altitude (fixed location or at sea) to record pressure trend. Altitude displayed based on absolute pressure without calibration, not useful. As soon as anything is done (tap on the screen, rotating the screen) marker needle moves, therefore this needle is useless and could be misleading. No noticeable battery drain. No possibility to export the data. It is not possible to change the frequency of the recorded data: 1 value per hour. The service seems to run despite not being listed in running apps, hence 3 stars despite important flaws. Urgent fixes needed: size of graph and frequency of records. If fixed and service maintained 5 stars.
