Though a bit buggy. Also, have to press enter for startup scripts. Also annoyingly changes buffer on weechat when I disconnect.
Not _that_much better than ConnectBot when it comes to using Irssi. I guess the swiping is nice.
It's really a good app but I wish that there was a way to save identities with passwords. And a autocomplete tab-key similar to JuiceSSH could be golden as well. The top-bar could be removed as well for more space.
Crashes everytime, when I try to post a line in irssi. My irssi runs inside latest tmux.
The bestest term ever, does its work beautifully even if there's few edge cases that aren't so pretty, yet.
Amazing on my older devices but swiping down crashes in jellybean every time.
Cannot connect to secure servers.
Nice, but keeps crashing with my new samsung galaxy s3mini. Annoying when I have to reconnect all the time.
Ilmeisesti tuoreimmassa päivityksessä lakkasi automaattinen näytön pyöritys toimimasta. Näyttö pysyy vaakatasossa, vaikka automaattinen kääntö on päällä. Pystyyn sen saa vain lukitsemalla sen pystyyn. Puhelimenani on Motorola Moto G LTE.
Works great with my existing irc (irssi + screen) setup.
The Application is very good, but didn't support multiwindows, so i can't open my office files with may irssi
The extra keys in the popup menu are great. Instead of double-tapping to get CTRL and then hitting A to execute a Screen command in the vanilla ConnectBot, it has CTRL+A in the long-press menu. Also nice to have Tab for Tab-completion of long filenames instead of having to do a CTRL+i.
I imagine not many will irssi from their phone, but this variation makes doing so more pleasant.

This is the Best SSH app around I could find though after upgrading from the Asus TF 201 to the Asus TF 700 the Ctrl Key do not work which makes programs like 'nano' and 'irssi' its self not work, a fix for this will result in five stars!
The only feature this is missing is the ability to turn on and back off auto-correct and text completion. Since I use this the most with Irssi in a screen session, being able to use SwiftKey to type would make this perfect.
Hi, how do you use up and down arrow keys on nexus 7, gesture doesn't work.
Tab auto complete works! I also like the smaller fonts. This is much more usable than the original Connectbot.
Great and intuitive but suffers a bit because of Android's desing. Loses connection too often. I used to have putty touch ui and it is far more stable in Symbian than connect bot in Android.
Only thought is an option to copy a pubkey directly to a host - either as a menu option or on host creation - would be nice (sort of emulation for ssh-copy-key / ssh-copy-id / cat [pubkey] | ssh [user]@[host] "cat >> [authorized_keys]" )
The first problem I've ever encountered with this app on the nexus 7 is that the connection drops randomly when the screen changes orientation. This is really annoying and it only happens on the nexus 7, my phone can't replicate it. Just get this for your ssh/irc-screen needs.
erfect otherwise, but has started crashing in random situations. Using an S3
I was waiting for fork. This one seems to be more up to date and well maintained.
Hi! I'm "Pricey from freenode". Despite the current "what's new", this app still sends your private keys to Google without your consent. This is bad.
Very great Client. With hackers-keyboard it is a perfect combination. It should possible to export/import hosts like putty session manager. With Helium Backup it isn't possible, too.
no landscape view. removing app.
Mkt bättre an alternativen! Krashar inte for mig på Desire Z eller Nexus 5. Älskar att de fixat problem med hårdvaruttangentbord. Confa lite så funkar saker bra:)
Workaround: use SYM to send any symbol first, then it starts working normally.
Minor problems: - Hitting ESCape on the external keybooard opens the URL scan. - When a bluetooth keyboard is connected it rotates to landscape only from one side while my tablet cover allows the support for the opposite. It would be nice to allow which ever rotation the user likes.
The convenience features for irssi and screen are especially great but it also works well just for normal command-line access. The one thing it lacks that I wish it had is mosh support. JuiceSSH has mosh but doesn't work with the Android swipe keyboard or Swype. So if you use the swipe keyboard or Swype, you'll probably be happier with Irssi ConnectBot.
Used this for a long time on a Samsung moment and appreciated the enhancements. It works great on my TF 101; I can use the ctrl key very naturally and operate bash and tmux. I tried VX connectbot but it's keyboard shortcuts got in the way.
I dont like the large top bar. It takes up alot of screen area. But its a awsome app.
I'm both really impressed and horribly appalled at this application. On2 the one hand, the features and the interface are excellent: it's quick and does it's job very well. However if you're using a physical keyboard, it's bordering on useless. Since this app maps shift-0 .. shift-9 function keys, it is impossible to get symbols like !@#$%^&* on the screen without having to jump through hoops (ie. onscreen symbol table). As a programmer, I easily use common symbols like !@# more than function keys and need them quite often. How could such a huge error in design be made? Include a key mapping feature in this app to account for this inane design decision, or it's impractical with a keyboard. Get vx connect bot instead. It works.
I mean it supports full ANSI, telnet, and so many great things - except keyboards. I mean, what use is a SSH/Telnet app if it doesn't even properly support keyboards?
Great app, but the ctrl/alt in the new tf700 transformer pad's dock don't seem to work the same way they do with the tf201. A fix would be much appreciated!
Love the irssi additional features. 20130823: Another wish - ability to mark (hilight) some text on screen and copy it to clipboard. Filled wishes: obeys 360° screen rotation
Below: There's already an option to map the search key to ALT (meta) == esc. Awesome product :)
but two things. - Would be very nice if the URLs in the url-scan feature could be editted before use! - Agent forwarding did not seem to always work.... unitl I figured how to change settings for a specific connection. For me it was not clear you need to long press a connection entry to be able to edit it...
Love it for connecting to IRC with my spotty cell signal. I just wish that it had 'home' as part of the commands. Nothing more annoying then writing out a long pose to find out you did /ne in error.
