The streaming is very choppy, even intermittent. I wish it would work better because it's a pain to have to use my laptop to listen.

It's nice, I like it!

I used to love this app, but it stops working about 5 minutes after pressing play. I've changed the quality and everything. Then after you close it it is still open. Very frustrating. I'm going to uninstall it. :( Edit: I installed a "newer" version of the app and it still having the same issues of stopping after about 10 minutes...constantly. I'm so disappointed! I love WKSU!

I have installed and uninstalled and reinstalled this app several times over a period of months on my Galaxy 5 phone. IT DOESN'T WORK. Not only is there no way to switch among the four streams, but when I close it, it doesn't always close. One month I got hit with a charge for extra data as a result. I hope my monthly contribution as a sustaining member is not paying for this worthless app.

Works ok comma I use it all the time. Although I have to force stop app as it continues to run in background after being turned off. Sucking my battery away

This app used .47 GB of data without me even opening it. I have no idea why it was running in the background. I uninstalled it. I never even opened the app and have no idea how this was happening! I hadn't used it in so long because the app glitches whenever I did use it.

Love this app...I use it daily! Would be a 5, but there is no accurate program description; all streams but Folk Alley has had the same incorrect info for days! Also would love a sleep timer, but I can live without!

I'm supposed to be able to access folk alley, classical music, and NPR on demand. This app is just streaming wksu.

I love the content but the app has issues. I have installed then deleted multiple times because it freezes and then I can't even close the app

WKSU has 4 HD channels. This app has no apparent menu to let you choose. When you close the app it stays on unless you go through "settings-apps-app management."

Refuses to update on Android. Once that is fixed,**I'll give this app the 5 STARS it deserves.**

Just says loading audio, but nothing ever happens. I've tried un/reinstalling the app, same result. I used to listen with this quite often, super disappointing.

(update 2-5-16) What is this nonsense: the Classical stream's working fine, but it's only showing "Morning Edition" as what's playing?!?! Also, what's happened to the website? You can't even access the playlists at ALL, nor can you click on anything to email the station about the problems. What's going on folks? (previous posting) Once again, on the classical stream, the playlist is not updating at all - it's shown the same work as being the one currently playing since 7am - it's now going on 3pm! I really like this app, as WKSU is a great station. I just wish they could get this sorted out & keep it working. I even flushed the data and cache for the app, followed by a reboot, with no luck. (update) Thursday - they got it working Friday - it's back to showing the *EXACT* same playlist entry as it was 2 days earlier. Is someone fixated on "Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, Flute and Oboe Concerto" or what??? It'd be REALLY nice to be able to check the app and see what it is I'm listening to, ya know? Please get it fixed once and for all.

Only HD1 played with no way to navigate the other channels...after emailing the the station and getting some help from Chuck, I found that my phone's menu was defaulted as hidden...once I fixed that the app works great!!!

The four different stations that are available on the WKSU website is a draw. Unfortunately, only the main radio station is available on the app for my Galaxy S7. This is the talk radio side of WKSU. I'm would like to access the classical music station during the day.

"Error no internet connection".. my connection shows fine, all other network apps work. 1 star because it doesn't seem to work. Will re-rate if i can figure it out.

App works fine on my other android devices but not my note 5 or s6. Saddness....

Got a new phone, app loads but can't change streams, access app settings because of where the button is on the app.

It sure does drain the battery!

APP only plays the news feed,. No options, menus, or other means to access music feeds. Used to work, but as of 3/16/15 is busted. I can still get the other feeds on Tune-In so I know they are there. This station has a track record of screwed up Internet feeds. I guess this is just the latest. Phone: Motorola Droid Turbo, OS: Kit Kat 4.4.

I've noticed lately that when I use the menu to quit the program it doesn't actually stop. It took me a while to figure this out as the Android "running programs" page doesn't show it. You have to dig downto the all programs running tool to see it hidden in the background. If that isn't enough, it MURDERS my battery even though it isn't playing anything. My battery normally lasts 2-3 days without a recharge. With this running--50% gone in 8 hours. Unacceptable. Fix your app.

As stated, the app on my phone plays HD1. Maybe extend buttons to switch stations on bottom of screen? I tapped, swiped, double- tapped all I could to no avail. Feels mean to give app 1star.

I have been listening to wksu since the time when androids were only on the movie screen, tablet obviously meant a pad of paper, and WKSU 89.7 played great music all day long instead of talking too much. With this app, I am able to easily switch to HD3 and get my music again. I wish the app showed me the name and composer of the piece playing. My Nexus is not displaying this unless I am on the folk stream. In summary, boo to your new on air program schedule, but thank you for this app.

Does not work on galaxy tab...just sits stating loading ...Finally, this works on the galaxy tab...THANK YOU WKSU!

As others have reported, just sits there, then reports check your Internet connection. (have one)

The app seems to stop responding and require a manual force close if it loses the wi-fi signal, or tries to switch from one wi-fi to another or from wi-fi to 3g. Useless if the mobile phone is *moving*. LG Optimus

Great choice of streams: Classical, Folk, News, On Air. Music couldn't be better and get a flavor of northeastern Ohio. WKSU was great 30 years ago.

Worked great on original DROID but FC on Bionic

Garbage. Keeps telling me I need an active internet connection when I do have one. Plz make an app that actually works! Evo.

Now that Epic/Galxy S has 2.2, just spins trying to load audio. Uninstall & reinstall didn't fix. Please fix!!!

Endless loading audio issue on (even more) Android 2.2 devices has been fixed in recent update.

One if my favorite apps and one that I use all day. Thank you for resolving 2.2 issue. Droid X.
