ObscuraCam for Android
So waist of time using it..taking decades to process or Appling settings
Appears frozen on opening screen, which is a shame as I was looking forward to better face detection
Perfect thank you so much for this app
Better
Face detection is all over the place and doesnt always follow the face in video mode and manual obscure mode seems impossible to figure out. Also, i can see right through that color pixelation, making it pretty much useless. This has potental though.
I don't have trouble with videos, it just takes skill. Blur on photos are sometimes not aligned with where I originally blurred it. That can be combated by predicting where the blur will be though.
I love the simple app here. I can blur and pixelate faces in pictures. But when working with a video when it comes time to save it, it will not play and therefore does not save the edited video. Any help with this ?!?!?!?!?!?
wants you to edit pictures immediately. I was trying to capture nieces playing at the park, lost every single photo because I thought I could just go back and edit later. worthless waste of time
The app works but after I get a video done I can't watch it due to format issues... I installed almost every video playing app and none of them can play the video... This needa to be fixed or I'm giving it a 1 star instead... I'm on a LG V20
Not good. I tried to blur the face in the video but it doesnt preview the full frame. I also tried to use the auto face detect and it still didnt blur correctly. 1 star but keeping it installed for an update.
If I could give 0 stars I would worst app ever want of time I hate it it deleted my whole gallery
Updates to the app don't work the same as before. No more auto face detection in video. How to manually block out face and videos which is inconvenient sometimes. Please put the features back that made me find this app useful
Novelty, though never really used. I'm glad Guardian is in to privacy, but Orbot is all they got. I've never had real world use of any of their other apps. Seems that alot of wasted talent is at Guardian. That's a shame. Well at least they have the look of privacy. Perhaps they put all the effort into Orbot, and the rest of their ideas are just afterthought kinda thrown out their for laughs. Haha.
Adds it's own metadata! The concept is to remove all metadata, so why remove it and add more?! New UI does make it more user friendly. Hopefully won't have to wait so long for the next update. (Remove 'ALL' metadata)
Works well, but not perfectly-- seems to have trouble detecting off-center faces, faces tilted, and partial faces.
To bad I can't give it 0 stars or even negative stars. Not sure how good it is because it takes WAY too long to process the video you're trying to edit. Negative stars from me!
The latest version makes the photo in less quality which make it not clear enough to be read

In the beginning I really believed that "The Guardian Project" had the right idea just like another familiar name... anyone want to guess? "GOOGLE" see both companies were our friends... at first.. but then corporate greed and new slime balls became C.E.Os and POOOF! All the promises they made were just lies! Don't believe me? Check out the permissions they ask on their other camera app! You'll see!
So you want to capture a pic that may win you a pulitzer prize. But you notice your sister is the one laying naked on the couch of your political target. This is the app for you. Because after all, there are some things that cannot be unseen.

Useless app. Uninstalled. Could find my face or the other face in the video despite spending nearly an hour trying to find faces. The only face it found was a portrait on the wall. Terrible.
On my old phone it worked fine for photos, but on my new phone, it will blur an image, say it's been saved, but then I can't find it in the gallery or anywhere else.. Maybe it needs an update for Marshmallow?
Glad your app can detect faces and obscure them, but before you jump down that rabbit hole maybe you should work on developing an app that can do this simple thing like save a file. Every time I've tried to use this app it crashes before saving the photo I just tried to edit. Once you fix that you might want to try and have the ability to use two fingers and drag to adjust the size of the box that you are using to obscure. It's kind of silly to have to zoom in and then tap to create a standard size box
Downloaded this ap but the top part of the video I need to obscure is covered by the toolbar and as far as I can tell the automatic search isn't touching anything in that area
The so called Guardian Project is not guarding us, they are another arm of the #USGOV aka Corporatocracy.
If I could give 0 stars I would worst app ever want of time I hate it it deleted my whole gallery
Low light images and ones with eyeglasses have problems with detection, and video failed detection on many frames, detecting portions of a beard as a face, but not the face. CarbonROM, android 4.2.2 on d2tmo
I took a photo including a screen with confidential information and it obscured a box down and to the right when saved/shared! Buyer beware.
Without instructions without a how-to video I was not able to use this one installed right away
But it takes time when you blur a video. It is not quick
Spent an hour blurring a face on a video went to save asked if I want to delete the original (why) wouldn't let me go any further so I tried to back the video up on my cloud went back said yes to just continue did the 4 times now I have 4 videos that won't play and my cloud failed to back up the original so this app deleted a priceless video. I hope the app burns down. Infuriated!
I still found my photos where I didn't want them. On picasa and g+. Dishonest bullshit that doesn't solve the massive privacy intrusion that google has inflicted on our phones. Uninstalling with disgust and disappointment.
Sorry but if you are clueless to what a GIF and its many great uses then dont negative rate an application that you hope will do what your default gallery is already configured to do . To think all these negative reviewers own computers and cant use an android is scary
No matter what media location is used, "unable to load media" error, every time. nexus 6 - have to uninstall.

First time - said no to delete original (remove this - it's stupid; why would you even put this in the program!?); no copy was made with my edits. The second time, I said yes to delete original. No copy was made with my edits, the app says cannot play unsupported file type, and the original is gone. Thanks for nothing.
I took a photo and looked at it in the gallery. It contained my phone model in the details.
Nothing more, nothing less.

No auto face detection, no tools in the editing area. Don't work as described
