aCalendar - Android Calendar

Love it but just recently my appointment time is not showing up correctly. It is correct when I going the appt but on the week and day view it is half an hour out. Will have to uninstall if glitch is not fixed as I can't rely on my calender. I uninstalled and reinstalled but did not fix it. Please go!

I used this for years but after replacing my phone, had to re-purchase. Now unable change the pale font. Black more easy to read. ***** Works well now I understand Calendar List. Rated it 5.

Unable to Sync when I press the button in aCalendar (yes, I also did the 'sync' on my phone settings.. to no avail). Later found out only when I press `refresh' in the stock G Calendar then it start to Sync correctly... Please help to fix.

I had an issue synchronising appointments. Matthias emailed me personally to explain how to set it up in the settings of my Android phone. I really can't argue with that kind of service.

I had installed this app as it displayed holidays for the year. However I found holiday for the year 2017 are not getting updated. Though I am able to view holidays for 2016 but same is not getting updated for 2017. I hope you will fix this otherwise I will be forced to look for other options. Thanks for responding. Actually google calender was disabled so Holidays couldn't get updated. After enabling it is working as expected. I am loving this app now and definitely recommend others to use it. I am changing my rating now.

I had an older version and loved it--had to buy a new phone and this calendar has a messed up monthly view and won't let me add any events--going shopping for a better calendar

It'd be 5 stars if it could save shifts to add in, instead of having to write the shift again each time.

Just started using this & I love it! One question - how do I change the format so Monday is the first day of the week??

Great up it was! But now on 3 different devices it can not synchronise with my google calendar not even manually

This app is by far my favorite app! This is now also my favorite company. This app updated and the layout and color I didn't like anymore, I said something to the support team and the next day they had an update for it so I could choose the app to look the same as it did. I am very surprised and pleased that this company cares about the users! If you want an app that can color code and set specific times for events as well as set up recurring events with reminders this is the app you want! :)

Great app! A suggestion: When a lot of events are added close to the same time, the day view looks very crowded. Would it be possible to randomize the color of each new event that is added instead of having the same color as default? This will help to differentiate the events at a glance. Maybe you could add a setting like "Randomize new event color ON/OFF", so that those who like the current system are not bothered. Thanks, and keep up the good work!

Love this calendar EXCEPT..... this latest update really made the colors go soft. My red work calendar looks pink and the dark blue looks baby blue etc. Really wish that wouldnt have happened. Sometimes good things dont need updating! UPDATE: Thanks for the qick reply! Worked once I checked the solid color box! 5 stars!

Have changed to insistent and alarm now sounds continually, thank you. However the snooze function does not display when my reminders go off. This must be because I use Miui on a Xiaomi phone. So disappointed as I love this app and the developer is so helpful. Still worth 5 stars even though I can't use it.

Great app & widget. Everything is available at a glance. Love being able to colour code event/appointment type. UPDATE: The new month view of the widget is terrible. I drop it by a star for this. UPDATE II: thank you so much for the design updates. Back to 5 stars. How do I make the gridlines on the widget solid instead of transparent?

The only rsn i haven't given it a 5x rating is because when u click on the button that lets u add ur description, it doesn't start wt a capital letter. Other than that, it's got all the features that i want. Rpt function, lets u do like 4wkly every particular day in d wk, brilliant!. Nice work.

LOVE this app. Used it for years. Hating the new update. Weak colours. Settings lost. Pitiful. Please revert to how it was before...** Thank you, thank you!! You listened to your users and within 24 hours created an update to fix everthing we didn't like. Back from two stars to five immediately!

Love this app, have it on two other devices, very easy to use, lot's of options for repeating appointment's/dates, recommended. Only complaint is that you can't sync with your other devices, it all has to be done manually, 5 stars if this ever happens, still a must have app for me though, thank you

Beats the calendar that came with my Samsung and can't uninstall. Easy to set time for events and shows event duration . Would like to set different colors for each type of event but that's minor. Was not happy with recent update but that got fixed. Thanks!

Agree with others about the disappointing upgrade---- I've just updated that. Solid colour are back! There are still some other subtle changes like white borders etc. I preferred it prior to the upgrade.

Google's most recently update left me frustrated, and forced to find a new calendar app. This app is way better! Straight forward and totally customizable. It quickly uploaded all my calendar events from my other calendar apps. I highly recommend this app.

This is my favorite calendar app. It offers a lot of settings free that almost every other calendar apps charged for. Most importantly for me was free multiple alarms and color coding. There's the option of viewing your calendar in daily, weekly and monthly form too. Few ads, and schedules everything in whatever obscure reminder setting I want (every second Tuesday of the month...)

Fab app. Last update got some negative feedback about design and within a week it's all solved. Can't say better than that. By far best calendar app I've tried (out of a dozen or so)

I have ADHD and struggle with time management. I use this app in combination with a to-do list app and for the first time I feel like I'm starting to get my life under control. I love the flexibility of the reminders and repeating tasks. The built in birthday list is also really nice.

Ok, the latest update re-instated the poor changes listed below. Thanks for listening to your users! (Now dump the solid-color 'today' feature and return to the border color only scheme!) This app was the best calendar out there until the latest upgrade. Very poor now. The two-tone color scheme is ugly, the lines separating days are gone, the 'today' color is too harsh. The developer claims another upgrade is in the works... soon. It cannot come fast enough!

sometimes the last week or two the widget for month view stopped displaying the non-allday events. the problems is relevant only to the "month view" widget and only for "between hours" events.. everything else works as it used to as far as i know. before that changed that was my favourite calendar app

2013 This is the best calendar app I've found, I've tried most and paid for some. Has a good very flexible UI. Easy to use and quick response from team on any queries. I can't fault it just love this app. Updated 2017 Still the best.

It was a 5 until the update, then I would give it a - number if I could. Layout sucks now, and you somehow changed my fonts. Just dumb.

Dropped a star because of the lack of dynamic updates for the icon. Once this feature is added it will be back to 5 stars. Otherwise it's a very solid calendar and is leaps and bounds ahead of the stock Google calendar.

Great app but I have 2 phones. I bought the colour theme and expected that it would be available on both phones. Instead it just states I have already got it and I'm unable to get it again! Help please. Otherwise brilliant. Thx.

You set an event for 4pm in LA when you will be away from your home timezone which is GMT. You set the alarm for the 15 mins before, the event. When in LA the event shows correctly for 4pm but goes off at 7:45am, 8 hours too early. Needs to be fixed for those who travel. Otherwise good.

Makes viewing calendar really difficult... Colours are so light now they are almost translucent. Totally useless update
