Automated WiFi Anonymizer randomizes the MAC address of your wireless device before establishing a connection to an access point and after disconnecting to enhance your anonymity and avoid being tracked. Requires rooted device.
You can also use it to get permanent free Wifi in hodspots that limit the free time by device.
Setup
• Grant root privileges
• Correct interface name, if necessary (default wlan0)
• Switch on the Automatic MAC Address Randomization
Enjoy anonymous wireless access. Each time you turn on/off, connect and disconnect from a wireless access point Automated WiFi Anonymizer will change your MAC Address.
If you want to recover the original MAC Address you can press the "Recover MAC" button or switch off the automatic randomization button. The original MAC backup will then be restored.
You can also use it to get permanent free Wifi in hodspots that limit the free time by device.

Doesn't work on Galaxy S4 with cyanogen mod, root access granted. It displays 2 errors about problem reading original MAC address, and then it does nothing, can't restore or change MAC address.

❌ Or at all really. Mac never changed from original. Even with super cow and random turned on. Tried several times with multi AP's to no avale. Runing KK 4.4+ on Samsung S3, make it work. Would be perfect for my needs…if it worked that is! Recommend trying something.. ANYTHING else, until we/I see an update with semi-recent date¡

I have a cyanogenmod on root. Not sure if it will work on unrooted android. This works great though. Time Warner cable has lots of free wifi hotspots all over orange county but only if you're a customer otherwise you only get 30 free minutes. And the only way it knows is by you mav address so I just change after half a hour and I'm good to keep going forever.

This app is not work on my note 5. There is error prompt open in app. Such a useless app!!
