WFMU (Official)

Love wfmu!! But, anyone else have problems with app dropping stream for no apparent reason? ie with no change in wifi? Happens not infrequently, I'm on a pixel, Android 7.1.2. sometimes it picks back up automatically, sometimes not. Didn't used to happen at all in old wfmu app on iPhone 5.

Eveeytime I leave the app in the background or when my screen turns off it stops/crashes. & all playlists crash after around 3 minutes. Galaxy S6 latest software. Not rooted.

Plays WFMU music streams and archives. Does other good WFMU stuff. If you're out of range of their transmitters, you need this app. Or if you're within range, but want to look at the current playlist quickly.

Keep getting a streaming error on live broadcast. I can only play archives!

Great radio station. I dont know what I would do without it. The app works great and I can bring shows to work ofline.

This app needs a quit option and a way to search archive, like the FMU website has.

maybe my phone hates it, who knows. Seems like it's only live - no archives. Also doesn't seem to show the name of the show while playing.

I can't get the app to run these days (doesnt advance beyond "buffering") so when I listen to the station I use a general radio app. You may find this app useful for knowing the station schedule as it gives the dates and times for one's own local area.

Been listening for years. So glad it is now available on my phone, so I can now listen to in anywhere. Highly recommend app. Would be even better if the app could store data on my sd card.

I love WFMU and access to the archives and Ichiban radio is super. I just wish the app wouldn't shut off sporadically, I suppose when the wifi signal is weak.

My most utilized app by far. I wish there was a larger achieve of shows to download, and random old shows.

The archived shows are a goldmine that will enrich me for the rest of my days.

I love this app for streaming the archives while I'm away from my radio and good old 90.1, however it seems to suffer from constant crashes when streaming over 4G. My only other wish is for more listener club features. Free-form for life!

The best radio station on this planet. Typically thoughtful of this easy to use app is that it shows local times in my country for the weekly schedule.

Briliant way to access this awesome station. Only prob is playlist for 'give drummer' stream can't be viewed, and often the track title doesn't show on the home screen.

LOVE THIS APP AND STATION! I got the app specifically so I would never miss the Glen Jones and X Ray Burns show and Martha. ( <3 ☺ ) Functions great. Able to access the archive and all types of fun stuff. If you love this station, this app is a must. If you don't love it you never listened!

Unfortunately the web pop-up, and even the TuneIn radio app, work much better (for me at least) than the WFMU android radio app. It is not stable enough, it's constantly interrupted after 20-30s of playing or the sound gets choppy. [edit for dev] using motorola X (2014) running lollipop 5.0 on wifi.

No complaints in functionality, I love being able to listen to FMU on the go. Question: am I missing Cherry Blossom Clinic in the archives, or is it really not there?
