Vyke lite

No longer supported. Says to update to full version but full version is not supported on my phone despite buying it 8 months ago.

I am on holiday abroad and installed this with £3 of credit. Waste of money, have let been able to hold a conversation with my contacts, they cannot hear me clearly so hangup. Using on an Android phone. Until issues are sorted do not install.

Hi, whenever I open the app to make the phone calls my phone hangs and I have to reboot it everytime and then it allows me to make a call. It's so frustrating. I did uninstalled and re - installed the app many times but still the same. Please resolve this issue asap or refund my balance and I will uninstall the app permanently. Thanks.

Wastage of money ! Poor quality.. When ever i use ur app to call , the other side people can't hear me... No voice clarity and very high latency. Instead if i use other similar services for the same call it works well eg: the hangout call. My internet quality is quite good , i have a min data rate of 30-40Mbps.

Please don't download and waste your time. Firstly, no free minutes or test call facility. Then when you download and recharge with credits and make calls, you realize it is all waste of time and money. No voice, either both persons connected on call can't hear each other or at least one of them can't; and yes, breaking of voice only adds up to the frustration. Maybe the developers can increase call rates a bit and fix the issue of poor calling.

Great for making calls using there high quality network. 25-01-2014, @Vyke: Please, update to latest version of Sipdroid (used internally). There's currently a newer version available, solving some issues when using with Android V4.4.x (Kitkat). 11-02-2014, @Vyke: Fantastic work has been put in the new version of the dailer. Happy!

Very delayed and the quality of voice is not good, but this is very cheap. I have been using it from Hamburg,Germany we have super speed connection of average speed 50Mbps mostly but the quality of call through vyke vs skype would be 3:10.

Even though I am on a 50mbps connection.. The connection is terrible sometimes... I have a request... There is no way to find out the deductions per call.. Can you please add a menu to see how much each call was charged with.It will bring transparency to how you calculate the calls.

I do not prefer to use credit card or any web facility for top up. Plz do the arrangement to top up from prepaid sims. I am based in UAE Dubai

I wanted to try it. Every time i am trying to call it is giving an error that is unknown command received

Vyke app for Android is not user friendly as menu do not provide all the options which were on BlackBerry app. 1)It does not give choices to add call - and/or get back to original call 2) Does not show timer during the call and/or stay on screen over other apps 3) Call quality is very poor often one way that the other party can not hear well either my my side or on the called party. So we have to disconnect in between. 4) If other call comes in -the app does NOT allow to hold the current call or to switch and often gets disconnected during trying to do a switch between the calls. Vyke should work better to make the app work user friendly Does not deserve even 1 star but has to be done to get through 9/9/15 My phone device is Samsung Glaxy S5

Getting message "sip service not ready, wifi calls are unavailable". This is not an issue with my internet as it allows me to make calls one time if i try hundred times. I guess i lost my money. Just letme kniw if you can do anything about this?

Vyke is the best and second to none. Audio connection is absolutely brilliant. Anyone with issues contact the team and they will respond immediately to your concerns.

I have vyke on pc which works normally. I downloaded app on my cellphone it keeps saying registering and I can't make any calls.

I will be happy if you can reduce calls to Nigeria to 2pence per minute. The 3.5p per minute is bit too expense. Skype is 2.5p per minute.

Have tired several times all modes of payment, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and tried, with different usernames too. It says system error!!

Think I must have deleted my review and Vyke reply. SMS ok. Calls make phone ring, I answer it but hear nothing. But it removes credit each time I try.

There is no speaker option in the app and the volume is too low, I'm not going to renew the subscription. Waste of money really..

With $2.99 in credit, correctly logged in, 5 bars of signal, a correctly dialed number of a functioning telephone...SIP service not ready. Uninstalled, re-installed. Same outcome.

Most of the time there is no ring tone heard, and no sound from the other side. Even though, I am using very high speed internet.

Wast of money. My 25% money wast. Id locked after recharge.

I normally use the local call via app, as I have unlimited local calls. Absolutely love it! I can talk for up to an hour to Europ for £0.09. Keep up the good work!

Seems a good piece of application, except for sip service sometimes break. For some reason I do not have a speakerphone option on my android handset, whereas I have it on my iPhone handset.
