About viredroid
Viredroid is an Android implementation of viredero system. It's a VR-based desktop mirroring using Google Cardboard. When viredroid is paired with an app on a desktop pc it turns your phone into the virtual pc monitor in the VR world. This is very early alpha version. May not work on all devices.
Viredroid connects to PC via usb cable and requires an application on pc to work. At the moment only linux application exist (it's called x-viredero) and hence only linux pc is supported. The whole viredero is open source under GPLv3. x-viredero could be obtained via gentoo overlay @https://github.com/event/x-viredero-overlay or built from sources https://github.com/event/x-viredero. Debian package is on the way. Viredroid source code resides at https://github.com/event/viredroid
