It's very easy:

1 .- Choose the person you like from your contacts. Cupidus will remember it, but it will keep it in secret.
2 .- Tell everybody about Cupidus. That is how she or he will know that Cupidus exists.
3 .- If she or he also likes you, and tells cupidus that, then, and only then, cupidus will tell it to both of you.
