Record, Map, Export & Email a Car Trip.
Requirements:
* GPS must be enabled for Trip Routing, Recording Speed, distance etc.
* An Existing Email account is required for Emailing Trip Route information.
Features:
* Shows GPS preferences menu to enable GPS.
* Show live Location updates with Time, Speed, accuracy etc.
* Summary information for Saved Trips
* Map any of the existing Trips with start and end points with route overlays.
* Option to delete old Trips.
* Backup database to SD Card.

* Fixed Quit interface, was confusing some people apparently by taking them directly to Device's Location preferences interface, Now it asks users to choose what they want to do.
Also, if you get force close on startup, it could be because of bad data in the DB from an old version. Clear data by going into Settings->Application and it should start right up.

Trip recorder may be best if it include a new feature like last/live location with saved trip. background run feature should also be added. So it will be more useful. Then I will give it 5*+ rating.

Very nice app! I use Android HTC EVO 1 yr old. I love Report capability. However, ODOMETER function does not work. I get trip distance from reports.

It works perfectly and is very accurate in some places. It has never let me down before!

It helps me keep track of miles driven for sales calls along with names of clients. Reports can be exported to excel for tax purposes.

Clearly stated requirement is that the GPS must be enabled. So, if gps is not turned on, it will show you the "Location and Security " settings.

Select quit from menu and it just brings up the gps options page. Not much good if the app won't exit.

It said that my trip was 2 hours and 1 minute long with a distance of 2.9 meters. All this app is good for is showing where you are on a map.
