Retro Camera

I really like the app and would have given it a higher rating except there is no way to turn the shutter sound off which is annoying. I liked to use it on my old phone in silence the so no one heard me taking a picture. But now every effort can hear. Please fix this for galaxy s7.

Pretty good on the rez but I found the same company's camera for Symbian platform had a better series of filters though too heavy (look at the symbian app!). Also the shutter sound is too loud and even on phone mute it's still there. Also, app is often too slow.

Kill the shutter sound! I also can't l can't locate the settings since I upgraded to a S7. I used to use this app all the time and it was great for many, many years. Now it's too noisy and I can't up the resolution. Very disappointed:(

Privacy concerns? Some people's comments always make me laugh. Got news for you. Every app accesses everything. It is nothing more than necessary disclaimers all app coders must write down.

Why this crap need our phone log and contact datas to run this app?they say they prevent other malicious apps to collect datas.this crap itself collects our data without our knowledge. Uninstall at the earliest.

Bored with bland digital images? Introduce some imperfections and get to love photography once more. No Leica but almost Zorki without fiddling with film caskets! Love it.

I loved this app on iOS, but now on Android (finnaly) I was disappointed. So much less stuff than iOS. I still like the variety of cameras, but iOS has way more. Needs alot of work.

I remember when this app first came out. I was not impressed. But now I come back years later and it is amazing. I particularly am fond of the orange Russian camera. I wish they would come up with a Holga.

Neat! Much easier to use than some other similar apps. I wish there was an on screen on/off toggle for flash. It's a pain to get to through the menu.

it makes the loudest noise and no option to shut it off. also can't use volume buttons as shutter on S7 EDGE

Had this on my Droid and loved it, switched to Samsung S5 and now I can't access the settings page which really kills it. With my Droid I was able to silence the annoying "camera" sound and remove the cheesy boarder from my pictures but now I might as well just use the instagram filters.

Please fix your app so it works with my phone. The software shows the mirror image of the photos I am trying to take, making it extremely difficult and a poor user experience.

I've used this app for several years now. It offers unique filters but I'm now unable to access the settings menu on the Galaxy s6. Hopefully this can be fixed, I loved being able to change focus, flash, shutter sound, etc.

Can't edit existing photos, makes a loud sound even when my phone was on vibrate only. Weak app.

Not interested at all it is totally boring app becauz its not viewing picture only i am requesting u to view picture i had given only one star bt after viewing the picture i will give it five stars

I loved this app, and have installed it on multiple phones; however, I wish they would add the option to apply the filters post process as well. Even though it takes very cool photos, I barely use it anymore because it's a bit slow, and I often wonder what my photos would look like with different filters. I've moved on to apps that allow post processing options.

I has this app on my iPhone 4, and lived it. I had all the film, lens, and camera body options, and used it all the time. Downloaded it on my new HTC phone, sad to see only the basic bodies are available, and no option to purchase more.

The different camera apps within this app take really great pictures. But they are slow and cumbersome to get between, and they take forever to take the shot. You could never choose one of these cameras quickly and snap a photo like you could with the regular app in your phone. These are simply for posed shots where everybody knows you're taking a picture and nobody moves while you mess around with it. There's no post photo editing in here so you get what you get, as you see it after the fact.

I love the black and white pictures this camera takes, not that the color pictures are bad or anything but the black and white pictures somehow are just awesome. The interface could be more user friendly but that also has its charm. Perhaps not an app you'll use for quick spontaneous pictures but if you like pictures with a lovely charm to them this is your app.

I used this app years ago and was so sad it quit working when i switched to gal s3. So glad its back now and WORKING (s5 now)! **please please add flash and front camera back** thanks!

I love this app, but it won't save to my gallery. I have to go into my files and save everything over manually. :(

I paid for the plus version to be able to save the full size shot as well as the retro shot but there's no way to do that. It looks like all I got for my money is a level?

I used to use this app on my galaxy s2. it worked fine there. now I have a galaxy s6 and I'm unable to change the cameras for the black and white option. What happened to the options?

Only problem I have is there is no front camera option. But I love how you can switch cameras for different effects and the info they come with. I enjoy this a lot!

Great app, produces awesome retro pictures. The only thing I'd like to change is to be able to import photos for the effect instead of having to take them in-app.

I used to take pics with this app all the time with my old phone (Samsung galaxy s3 mini). Now I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 and since this phone doesn't have an actual "menu button" anymore I cannot access the settings!!! Hence I can't get rid of the sound. I love to take pictures of my cat when he's asleep and all cuddled up in funny poses. Now I take one picture and he wakes up from the sound. It's super annoying and makes me very sad.

I've been using this app for a long time now and thing it's great for producing some lovely looking images. A recent phone upgrade has left me at a bit of a loss as I no longer appear to be able to access the settings menu. Samsung have changed the menu button to function as a recent apps button. If the next upgrade features a settings button on screen I'll be back to being very happy as I'll be able to turn the sound off again.

It's certainly no Hipstimatic for iOS, but gets the job done. It needs a definite update to add more filters and camera options in order to get a 5 star rating. Also, please UPDATE viewfinder - it needs to have the option to change to full screen so you can actually see what photo you are taking better. Update: Still no changes for requests made, but with Note 4 you can't choose B&W option on any of the cameras. It's either off and you can't turn on or vise versa.

My s5 has no menu button so I need a software one to change settings. Everything else is fabulous.

The thing I really like about this app is the limited feature set, down to the tiny "viewfinder". You can't really tell what your shots will look like until you "develop" them. The lack of zoom and other features you're used to forces you to get creative and compose your shots within the small frame you get with this camera. I only wish there was a way to edit the borders, scratches and other "retro" effects within the app. One of my favorite pic apps, and if you're on Instagram, the ratio is perfect!

This is my favorite alternate camera app. Latest update fixed issue with hang at the developing screen. I would pay for this app to eliminate ads and encourage more camera types.

Totally great app. Really enjoy it and found no issues. Takes some great pics perfect for facebookers and tweeters. I think it has a stunning UI and is really cool to use. Thank you for a great free app.

I think I'm actually going to cry this is so bad. Shutter? Wth is wrong with this? Switching between camera effects doesn't even change anything. All i want is a camera that does black and white. I tried doing that with this app, and no surprise here; nothing happened. I might as well buy a real camera this is so retarded.

Excellent app... Perfect standalone app for retro photography... Would have given it 5 stars if you could have a bit more control on the different effects produced from using different cameras...

This camera offers a retro view of pictures. It reminds me of the pictures I took as a kid.

I've had this app since its release....which my phone had one cam...now I have a front facing camera making the app...virtually not as exciting as it use to be. Have to move on my dear....

I use one camera in this app and it produces a very nice black and white photo and rich color photos. The little orange box has been great for both landscapes and portraits. The effects can at times be striking. Camera angle and position can be used to easily manage exposure. Very useful app.

Easy to use, a superb choice of camera effects... What more could you ask for!
