I work for a software company and understand the difficulty associated with rolling out a massive update. In the beginning things are often broken and it takes time to port over old features. Overall the new app is great! The UI has a modern revamp and is so much smoother. Give Unitus some time, I guarantee you that as you read this their dev team is working on improving the app :)

I loved the pending transactions feature. Honestly that was the MAIN reason for me to join Unitus. I'm considering going back to one of the Big 3. That have the pending transaction feature. Not everyone has the time to stop and write down how much they spent on what item at what store. I know this will be a problem in the future. Bummer... I'm going to have to start researching other financial institutions that have the pending transaction feature on their mobile app. And the also removed it from the main online program. It just shows pending and does not give you the difference from available and pending like it use to.

The snap check is too sensitive to light exposure. It gives me 'too light' error message every time for the back of the check. Never had that problem with old version. The backs of checks are always difficult to read. Now I have to deposit in person. Argh!

They added pending transactions on my credit card within the app so that's pretty cool. It's annoying to get a notification asking if I'd like to keep working.

****Update**** SnapCheck no longer works on my device after updating. It's the only reason I use the app (I'd prefer the option to scan and submit checks via the website as with US Bank), manly due to the lack of camera controls, which this update does not address. All I currently see is a black screen with a flash control. ****Update**** Abysmal interest rates, old tech, a single old, slow ATM outside the branch. I don't see Unitus shareholders benefitting from their deposits as with other CU's.

The new app auto closes too quickly after no activity. I often need to change between apps to pay bills and before I finish, it has closed. It also forces to the front when it closes which is very annoying (instead of possibly warning that it will close soon). It would be nice to have the option to log in using a fingerprint.

It's way messier. But the absolute worst part is they took away the ability to look at pending transactions. That was the main reason I used this app. Not happy. Considering removing this app now.

EDIT: Latest release fixed Snap Check issue. At least we're back to a functioning app. EDIT: Snap check now unusable! I've gotten it to work ONCE since update and it took 20 min of failed photos. Plus, the app keeps timing out while trying to get a good shot! No new (useful) features on update, just new look and failed functionality. Please fix ASAP. I don't live close to a branch anymore and really need this to work. Please don't make switch banks over this. ORIGINAL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ REVIEW: Snap check is so handy with limited branches. However, I don't know why it insists on converting the image to the worst quality ever. Would like to see more features like pending transactions, fico score, and mortgage access.

Absolutely love that it now shows the pending transactions, I hated having direct deposit and couldn't see the paycheck balance until it cleared, now I can plan my bills and etc before it even goes through!

The app crashes when I try to submit a photo for snapcheck. Worked fine before the update. Nexus 6 - 7.1.1

Critical app for me and it stopped working after the last update. Asks to send a code via txt or email and I never get it. I'm changing my bank tomorrow because of this, which is very unfortunate as I've been a member for a long time and really like Unitus in all other ways. Running a Pixel on VZW on 7.1.1

Crashes whenever I try to move money, snapcheck doesn't even work anymore. Functionally useless.

If your not sure it works don't roll it out to the public.

Well, with the recent update the UI looks to be only a few years behind bigger institutions, so that's a plus. On the other hand, if you can't do something like deposit a check without the app force closing, what's the point?

Used the app for Snapcheck but it crashes every time. For months and months. I'm sure it's being worked on and will be back to a 5* app but...what's the hold up, guys?

Select (deposit to:) on the 3rd screen after selecting the Snapcheck option, it is not highlighted and is counter-intuitive.

Asks for a security code but will not let me type it in

doesn't show pending transactions... much needed feature..

Was better before update. Can't check pending transactions.

No way to change my password so I logged into the Website and changed it. Then three days later when I tried to use this mobile banking app it wouldn't accept the new password and locked me out... And I live on the East Coast now. Low and behold had no problem logging in to the Website with the SAME FREAKING PASSWORD!

You guys ever going to update your app? Because it looks like you just released one version and called it good. Snap check barely works and the image is all messed up. Been that way for 6 months now. Doesn't look good for you when the last update was January of 2015. Get with the program, Unitus.

For the most part, this app is fine, but the snap check feature is really, really buggy. I regularly use the same feature without any issues for my OnPoint account, but the Unitus version has a really hard time focusing on the check you're trying to deposit. I routinely have to take several photos before they're accepted, and sometimes I have to give up and go to an ATM or drive out to Mall 205 to make the deposit. Super frustrating.

Easy and comfortable to use. From checking your balance in savings/ checking or transferring funds from account to account is so easy and smooth. The best banking app I've ever used and have rec- amended it to all my associates .five stare for sure!...RTscheu.

While it has *most* of the functionality you would expect in a banking app, the UI stinks and the design is generally abysmal -- with all sorts of badly dated gradients and shiny crap and reflections. Looks awful on modern, hi-res displays. ... so don't expect some modern, Material Design-compliant app, and you can forget bells and whistles like finger print login. ... Unitus, if you're looking for inspiration, check out the beautifully functional investment app "Robinhood."

Well I loved this app. And for whatever reason I have not been able to access it for the last four days. I've even deleted and redownloaded it. This is ridiculous.

Most of the time try to login it keeps saying network connection error has occurred, even I have strong network.

I have been getting a "network connectivity error" message every time Ive tried to open this app for the last week and it does nothing.

IT needs to stay on top of Apps too

Not letting me log in then when it does says networks error and won't let me check any transactions.

This app is functional but far from the gold standard. SnapCheck feature works much better than it did initially. Updates are few and far between which leaves me questioning the app's overall security since my credit card apps update at least once every couple of months. Overall much better than going to a Unitus ATM to deposit and transfer funds after hours.

Makes me retake pictures WAY too many times... too light, blurry, etc. Even in perfect light. Fix for more stars. Thanks.
