I am stuck in a loop of trying to pair my phone (ZTE Axon 7 running Nougat 7.0) with MediaMonkey and MonkeyTunes. It just keeps adding my phone and asking for codes and doesn't get any further. It adds multiple copies of my phone but never gets to the point of allowing access. Please fix because without this I am back to using iTunes. EDIT: uninstalling E Milles Remote speakers output plugin seems to fix it. Given that life with that plugin isn't great, I am now trying to get things working over DLNA. Does TunesRemote work with DLNA speakers please? If so then am up to 5 stars and a huge fan and would happily pay.

Does absolutely everything it should. My only complaint is nitpicky, and not in any way something I'd mark off a star for... a scaled tablet version with all the functional buttons on screen would be /awesome/.

K70%
by K####:

The app itself would be great (except that it doesn't scale the album art very nicely) but the constant hassle with iTunes (all versions up to v12.3.2 so far) forgetting the remote and the lottery called pairing spoils all fun! When I haven't used the app for a day or so, I can be sure, that it won't connect to my old MacBook (used as media player) and iTunes only accepts its pairing requests when it has a good day (which means maybe once per week). Later edit: gave up on it - essentially useless!

Seems to forget my PCs location each time it closes and then refuses to find it again. Apart from that, works well

I like this program as it works with MediaMonkey BUT it is SO DIFFICULT to get it to "pair" with MediaMonkey that I want to tear my hair out.

Used to be able to control iTunes prior to a device wipe. After device wipe, it would find iTunes but iTunes would never complete pin verification. Now it doesn't find iTunes after attempting setup again.

i used to have this app about two years ago on my OG droid and it worked pretty well other then the pairing issues but that was my phone. This app has been upgraded it looks completely new like my Baltimore ravens defense. THIS APP is EPIC play COD you dont have to go the computer just look at your phone to change the song. and there's a swipe feature how could you go wrong. GREAT JOB. was a 3 two years ago now a strong 5

Took me a while to figure out how to do the pairing on iTunes, but once that was out of the way the app did exactly what it's supposed to do. Highly recommended.

This was the second MediaMonkey remote I tried and it by far is the best. There are some things you can't do that other apps allow, but as far as playing songs and playlists and searching music, this is the best. Highly recommend.

Wow! So much better than the regular Tunes Remote. This one works great with Apple TV (G1) and as oppose to the other app, this one remembers your pairing. It also works great on my tablet. The new version rocks! Still needs some TLC.

Wish there was a non remote version - meaning just a normal phone media player. Love the look and feel, can't recall this ever crashing. Would be good to appear in notifications bar

I'd really like a genre tab and better options as to how to deal with compilations. Aside from that, this is the only iTunes remote that looks modern! Great UI in keeping with Android's Holo theme. You should update your screenshots. It's beautiful with nice album art transitions. Suprised to find out that it can even control Airplay device volumes.

Hit and miss wheather it works or not. Often it works only for one song and then it seems to disconnect, im 100% sure nothing is wrong with my wifi. Music will be playing but nothing shows up under "now playing" and list of songs/artists is blank and never loads. On the off chance it is working this is a 5 star app.

Great, free application, with notification controls, sans ads. Nice Holo theme, as well. All that I would ask for, is for the ability to browse genres and playlists, as you can in iTunes. Also, the notification controls are extremely buggy, and constantly crash. :'(

I love this app after using it for five minutes. However, it seems to add a lot of tracks to the new "Up Next" feature in iTunes. It'd be great if I could just have it play one album, rather than it queuing every album by the same artist after the first. (For instance, putting Abbey Road on will add every Beatles album after that as well.) Edit: Apparently it just queues every track after the one you choose... kind of annoying.

Notification controls are extremely useful, and the music selection with android-style lists is just so sleek. However, I do miss the big album artwork in the center of the player; right now, the song info is covering so much of it...

All of us sometimes think "that'd be cool if I could...". For me, it was controlling music from anywhere in my house without needing line of sight to the receiver, or the remote to the stereo. With this app, I can do just that. The developer is among the best I've ever seen- personalized help and follows through all the way to when you have the solution.

I have a home theater PC setup to play to 3 airport express throughout the house. I prefer winamp but this remote works so well with iTunes and allows me to control which speakers it goes to so well that I use iTunes over WA. One issue with new layout I have had is the speakers select window is not letting me change or manage speakers. It closes to an "OK" window. Will add 5th star if this is fixed as it the main reason for my use of this remote. ***************************updated***************** speaker

Works seamlessly with my iTunes, on Mac and PC. One thing which always annoyed me was the album art scaling/stretching. Now that it's fixed, I'm completely satisfied! Brilliant! The developers clearly listen to the feedback, much respect.

Where does it queue the tracks I can't find a list of queued tracks anywhere I was kind of hoping to replace my iPhone with my nexus at partys

N70%
by N####:

The app overall is brilliant. But there's a slightly annoying problem with the 'now playing'; when you sey it to playlist, it always starts at the top, which means it's quite laborious to choose songs at the bottom of the playlist.

Seems to work pretty well. Occasional force close on Xperia, but picks up where it left off. Thanks!

It may be a little glitchy occasionally but it gets the job done and has some great features!

Does everything I want fast easy to use. I was amazed how well this worked with my Mac. The only thing I thing could help make it better is if it had a widget so I could control it without going into the app.
