PHONE-TO-PHONE
Bump your phone with any Android phone to easily send a video. No Internet access needed.
Requirement: NFC and Android Beam active.
PEER-TO-PEER ON-DEMAND STREAMING
When you select/record a video, Tribler Mobile will generate a PPSP.me link. After posting this link on Tweeter, the phone will upload the video to the cloud (using P2P technology).
Your Twitter followers can stream your video directly to their phones and computers.
Requirement: 1 Mbps Internet (3G or wifi)
PEER-TO-PEER LIVE STREAMING
Broadcast live video to other phones.
The menu option "Start liver broadcast from you phone" plus pressing start will initiate broadcasting. You Internet Address (IPv4) becomes visible in your screen. Tell your friends which address you are broadcasting. Select the menu option "View ongoing video broadcast on your phone" and type in the Internet Address of broadcast to tune-in.
Note: this is a Beta, in next version we will also have ppsp:// links to live broadcasts, similar to on-demand video links (Not easy, that requires signatures and source authentication).
This application can:
- stream video without using any server
- uses 4th generation P2P technology
- mixes Java and C++

Uses an upcoming IETF Internet Standard to deliver video (both live and on-demand) to any device. It might be understood as BitTorrent at the transport layer.

Doesn't do much for now unless you regularly use twitter and want to send videos to contacts. Hopefully working towards a true tribler for mobile. Will donate if it comes.

Awesome desktop app, but this mobile only interacts with other triblr mobile apps via p2p. Pretty much useless on a mobile network.

Piece of @#$% software

It downloaded images of child born to my phone while I was trying to figure out program. Still not sure where they came from it was a new Phone . It also downloaded same thing numerous times and filled up phone memory.
