Traccar Client is an app that allows you to use your mobile device as a GPS tracker. It reports location to your own or hosted server with selected time intervals.
By default application is configured to use free Traccar service (address - demo.traccar.org, port - 5055). To see your device on map register on http://demo.traccar.org/ and add your device with identifier.
Traccar (Server) is a free open source server that supports more than 100 different protocols and GPS tracking devices. You can use this application with your own hosted instance of Traccar. For more information visit https://www.traccar.org/.

Why this app sometimes just stops to send its location? I am expierencing this on Lenovo, Samsung and LTE :( Also, it would be good to have updated based on CELL if GPS is not available.

Great app. Thank you! One thing need to check is the app won't send message to server when waiting for gps signal. This lead to problem that manager don't know that client is alive or not. Instead i think it should send no signal message to server untill signal is up again.

Documentation lack of info on how to configure server, on what port to open, TCP or udp. Lost 2 hours searching some wiki with no success.

This app is very good for tracking. One problem, when there is data logged inside the app, it is very slow to transfer data to server.

I'm sure have entered correct ip on server address. But it stuck on "service created" and "connectivity change". Please fix it.

It shows send failed all the time, I use my own teaccar, I'm sure from the IP address, I inserted device ID in the unique ID, and left the port as default
