The media player is bad and annoying, please fix it, I don't mind paying for a better app.

This review is for the app itself and not for the shows content. The content is 5/5. This app is really terrible and has very few redeeming feature. The problems are split into two issues. The first being the bugs and the second is the design. Since the app is free and created by a small organization by busy volunteers I would be willing to forget about the bad design and not post a review. However the constant bugs are too much to let go. It wont'constantly and is unable to load an episode. It requires you to restart your phone at least once to get it working. It also stops working minutes before the episode ends which means that you miss the quote or the end banter which is disappointing. Also it sometimes stops in a middle of an episode of and you are unable to get it to resume. The design and functionality of the app is not great. There is no fast way to find old episodes in the large library. Also whenever you finish an episode, press the back button or load up the app again it starts at the most recent episode. This makes it annoying to constantly scroll down when catching up on the episodes.

SGU is an amazing weekly podcast that stands head and shoulders above most others. Their app is a solid and reliable companion, giving you the show, notes, and community in one convenient package.

If you aren't yet an SGU fan, start listening. They are one of the best podcasts out there, and sure to please any science fan or skeptic. I learn something new every week, and I laugh every week (thanks Rebecca!) This app is a simple no-frills streaming player (you can also download) which automatically updates with new podcasts as they come out. I find it the most convenient way to listen to the show.

Great app for SGU fans to access all audio content. Enabling access to your resources as you have in the SGU website will make it The Skeptics App to the Universe! Keep on the good work!

When I open most other apps while listening to the app it just stops playing and clears the progress through the episode. Also annoying that every time I come out the episode it takes me to the top of the list. Makes listening to very old episodes hard. Also a cool feature would be to make and share playlists. Like Spotify. So people could make a playlist of all the episodes featuring homeopathy, or every episode with the story following Simon Sing. I don't know how hard that would be, but could be good.

If you've haven't yet discovered skepticism, listen to this and you will learn how to think for yourself much more clearly, objectively, and rationally. It could just change your life. Don't have a belief system, instead focus on critical and independent thinking.
