No internet connection required. Simply start Aires Camping Car and it will show you all the motorhome service points and rest stops that are near you. If you want to do some planning you can search by town, aire or autoroute name.

Fairly poor, non intuitive, with many aires not included. I wouldn't recommend this.

Does the basics well ,gives good description of facilities available at each aire.Downside is you can only search for towns that actually have Aires and not for a list of Aires near a town that dosent

Has helped us find a couple of places but there is no key so I dont know what the different colours mean and tge sat nav coordinates are too short.

You can't just look at the map and see all the sites.. so how do you know if there's an Aire there? You have to do lots of name searches... slow and a bit silly.

Came in extremely handy when crossing France in my lil' camper van. There are tons of "aires de camping-car" in France, but not always well indicated. Fast, fairly light-weight and easy to use, plus integrates well with Google Maps AND my other on-phone navigator. The only feature it's missing (one I've been promised will be implemented soon by the developers) is to be able to visualize rest areas directly on the map instead of only in list form. It would be much more convenient to be able to SEE the spots, in relation to where one is and the direction one's going. As soon as that feature is available, I'll add the extra star I' with-holding! :)

Nice to see a responsive developer, issues with directions and map integration have been quickly sorted. Would be nice to be able to start by pointing at a map rather than search for a place name. Kudos for having all data in the app, not needing internet while travelling. Will use the app for real (touring France) in September!
